香格里拉职业学院是经云南省人民政府批准成立、国家教育部备案的全日制公办高等职业院校，由迪庆州人民政府举办，教育行政主管部门为云南省教育厅。学院位于云南省迪庆藏族自治州香格里拉市建塘镇，一期占地360亩，校舍建筑面积5.4万平方米，设教育系、医学系、农学系、旅游系、机电工程系、经济系等6个专业系部，重点面向区域第一、二、三产业培养高素质技能人才。

Shangri-La Vocational College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. Sponsored by the People's Government of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, it is under the educational administration of the Department of Education of Yunnan Province. Located in Jiantang Town, Shangri-La City, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, the college covers an area of 360 mu in its first phase, with a building area of 54,000 square meters. It has 6 professional departments including Education, Medicine, Agriculture, Tourism, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Economics, focusing on cultivating high-quality technical talents for the primary, secondary and tertiary industries in the region.

学院现有专任教师94人，其中副高职以上教师42人，双师型教师53人，开设畜牧兽医、康复治疗技术、旅游管理、林业技术等特色专业，形成了以专科层次职业教育为主，立足迪庆、服务大香格里拉地区的办学定位，致力于构建学生就业与升学并重的职业教育平台。

The college currently has 94 full-time teachers, including 42 with associate senior titles or above and 53 dual-qualified teachers. It offers特色 majors such as Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Rehabilitation Therapy Technology, Tourism Management, and Forestry Technology. With a school-running orientation focusing on vocational education at the junior college level, based in Diqing and serving the Greater Shangri-La region, the college is committed to building a vocational education platform that emphasizes both employment and further education for students.
