湖北城市建设职业技术学院是经湖北省人民政府批准成立、教育部备案的建筑类全日制公办普通高等学校，隶属湖北省住房和城乡建设厅，是湖北省示范性高职院校、国家第三批现代学徒制试点院校、国家首批1+X证书试点学校。学院创办于1978年，2002年由湖北城市建设学校、湖北城乡建设职工大学组建升格并更名。

Hubei Urban Construction Vocational and Technological College is a full-time public higher vocational college specializing in construction, approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Affiliated to the Hubei Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, it is a model higher vocational college in Hubei Province, a pilot institution for the third batch of modern apprenticeship system in China, and one of the first batch of 1+X certificate pilot schools in China. Founded in 1978, the college was upgraded and renamed in 2002 through the merger of Hubei Urban Construction School and Hubei Urban-Rural Construction Workers' University.

学院地处武汉中国光谷核心地带，坐落在风景秀丽的藏龙岛国家湿地公园汤逊湖畔，占地面积45.54万平方米，校园环境优美。学校以土建施工类专业为龙头，建设类专业为主体，形成多专业协调发展的专业体系，开设有建筑工程技术、工程造价等42个高职专业，拥有1个国家建筑技术实训基地、2个中央财政支持的职业教育实训基地，教学设施完备，实训条件优越。

Located in the core area of Wuhan Optics Valley, the college is situated by the beautiful Tangxun Lake in the Canglongdao National Wetland Park, covering an area of 455,400 square meters with a pleasant campus environment. With civil engineering construction majors as the leading discipline and construction-related majors as the main body, the college has formed a professional system with coordinated development of multiple disciplines. It offers 42 higher vocational majors including Architectural Engineering Technology and Engineering Cost. The college boasts 1 national construction technology training base and 2 vocational education training bases supported by central finance, with complete teaching facilities and superior training conditions.
