湖南吉利汽车职业技术学院是经湖南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制民办普通高校，由吉利控股集团投资创建，成立于2012年。学院坐落于湘潭市雨湖区湘潭大学城内，毗邻湖南科技大学和湘潭大学，2024年8月新校区投入使用，占地500亩，建筑面积约25万平方米，教学与实践设备完备。

Hunan Geely Automobile Vocational and Technical College is a full-time private ordinary college approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded by Geely Holding Group in 2012, it is located in Xiangtan University Town, Yuhu District, Xiangtan City, adjacent to Hunan University of Science and Technology and Xiangtan University. The new campus, put into use in August 2024, covers an area of 500 mu with a construction area of about 250,000 square meters, equipped with complete teaching and practical facilities.

学院以培养汽车类高技能人才为主，同时涵盖软件技术、智能制造、工商管理等多领域，下设汽车学院、人工智能与软件学院、人文与管理学院3个二级学院，开设有20个专业，其中汽车制造与装配技术专业入选湖南省高等职业教育一流特色专业群培育项目。

The college mainly focuses on cultivating high-skilled talents in the automotive field, while also covering multiple fields such as software technology, intelligent manufacturing, and business management. It has 3 secondary colleges: the School of Automotive Engineering, the School of Artificial Intelligence and Software, and the School of Humanities and Management, offering 20 majors. Among them, the major of Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Technology was selected into the cultivation project of first-class characteristic professional groups in Hunan higher vocational education.

学院秉持“好品格、好习惯、好技能”的“三好教育”办学理念，推进产教融合、校企合作，与吉利集团等企业形成“双主体”育人模式，构建吉利就业、行业就业和自主创业三重就业平台，毕业生就业率达98%以上，是中国汽车工程学会指定的人才培养基地。

Adhering to the educational philosophy of "good character, good habits, good skills" (Three Good Education), the college promotes the integration of industry and education as well as school-enterprise cooperation, forming a "dual-subject" talent training model with enterprises such as Geely Group. It has built a triple employment platform including Geely employment, industry employment, and independent entrepreneurship, with a graduate employment rate of over 98%. It is a designated talent training base by the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineers.
