江西应用科技学院是经教育部批准设置的全日制民办普通本科高校，始建于1984年，前身为江西城市职业学院，2014年升格为本科院校并更名。学校坐落于江西省南昌市新建区，以“近知、近仁、近勇”为校训，秉承“健全人格+复合知识+实践能力”的三元育人理念，形成了工学、管理学、艺术学等多学科协调发展的办学格局。

Jiangxi University of Applied Science is a full-time private undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1984, it was formerly known as Jiangxi City Vocational College and upgraded to a undergraduate institution in 2014. Located in Xinjian District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, the university adheres to the motto of "Approaching Knowledge, Benevolence, and Courage" and the educational philosophy of "Sound Personality + Composite Knowledge + Practical Ability", forming a multidisciplinary development pattern with engineering, management, and art as the main disciplines.

学校现设有13个教学单位，开设50余个本专科专业，全日制在校生19000余人。校园占地面积110.56万平方米，馆藏纸质图书185.59万册，电子图书45万册。近年来与阿里巴巴、华为等企业共建8个产业学院，荣获“全国五四红旗团委”“江西省高校毕业生就业工作优秀等级学校”等称号。

The university currently has 13 teaching units offering over 50 undergraduate and junior college programs, with more than 19,000 full-time students. The campus covers an area of 1.1056 million square meters, with 1.8559 million paper books and 450,000 e-books in its collection. In recent years, it has jointly established 8 industrial colleges with enterprises such as Alibaba and Huawei, and has been awarded titles including "National May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee" and "Excellent Grade School for Graduate Employment in Jiangxi Province".
