南北大学（North South University, NSU）是孟加拉国第一所私立大学，于1992年由北大基金会的董事会成员建立，现已发展成为该地区的教育巨头，拥有20000多名本科生和研究生。

North South University (NSU), established in 1992 by members of the board of directors of the Peking University Foundation, is the first private university in Bangladesh. It has now grown into an educational giant in the region with over 20,000 undergraduate and graduate students.

学校分为四个学院，分别是商业与经济学院、工程与物理科学学院、人文与社会科学学院、健康与生命科学学院；并开设23个本科课程和16个研究生课程。作为孟加拉国第一所私立非营利性大学，南北大学国际化程度高，2006年与云南大学共建南亚地区首家孔子学院，长期致力于推动中文教育与中孟文化交流。

The university consists of four faculties: the School of Business and Economics, the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the School of Health and Life Sciences. It offers 23 undergraduate programs and 16 graduate programs. As the first private non-profit university in Bangladesh, NSU has a high degree of internationalization. In 2006, it jointly established the first Confucius Institute in South Asia with Yunnan University, and has long been committed to promoting Chinese language education and cultural exchanges between China and Bangladesh.
