阿拉善职业技术学院是2011年1月经内蒙古自治区人民政府批准设立，2013年3月正式运行的全日制普通高等职业院校，由原广播电视大学、师范、卫校、技校等10所学校历经4次合并调整而来。现运行阿拉善职业技术学院、阿拉善盟广播电视大学等6个办学实体，秉承“立足地方、以人为本、崇尚品位、彰显特色”的办学理念，以“小而精、精而特、特而优”为发展路径，聚焦自治区及阿拉善重点产业链，形成中高职全日制学历教育、成人继续教育、社会培训“三驾马车”并进的办学格局。

Alxa Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public vocational college approved by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Government in January 2011 and officially operational in March 2013. It was formed through four mergers and adjustments of 10 former institutions, including radio and television universities, normal schools, health schools, and technical schools. Currently, it operates 6 educational entities such as Alxa Vocational and Technical College and Alxa League Radio and Television University. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "rooted in the local community, people-oriented, pursuing quality, and highlighting characteristics" and the development path of "small but refined, refined but distinctive, distinctive but excellent", the college focuses on key industrial chains in the autonomous region and Alxa, forming a tripartite educational pattern integrating full-time academic education (secondary and higher vocational), adult continuing education, and social training.

学院拥有巴彦浩特、乌斯太两个校区及阿右旗、额济纳旗两个培训中心，总占地面积875亩，建筑面积12.4万平方米，固定资产总值近5亿元，教学科研仪器总值7500余万元，图书17万余册。下设12个职能部门、9个教学系部及3个教辅部门，开设高职专业33个、中职专业44个，现有在职教职工401人（专任教师287人，“双师型”教师104人），在籍学生7798人，其中全日制在校生5093人。近年来，学院深化产教融合，推行工学结合订单式培养，毕业生平均就业率超90%，年均社会培训1.6万人次以上，为区域经济社会发展培养了大量实用型技能人才。

The college has two campuses (Bayanhot and Wusitai) and two training centers (in Right Banner and Ejina Banner), covering a total area of 875 mu with a building area of 124,000 square meters. Its fixed assets are nearly 500 million yuan, including over 75 million yuan worth of teaching and research equipment and more than 170,000 books. It comprises 12 functional departments, 9 teaching departments, and 3 auxiliary departments, offering 33 higher vocational programs and 44 secondary vocational programs. The college has 401 faculty members (including 287 full-time teachers and 104 "double-qualified" teachers) and 7,798 enrolled students, with 5,093 full-time students. In recent years, the college has deepened industry-education integration and promoted work-study integrated order-based training, achieving an average graduate employment rate of over 90% and organizing more than 16,000 person-times of social training annually, cultivating a large number of practical skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
