兰州现代职业学院成立于2016年，是在原兰州市属10所中等职业学校基础上组建的全日制普通高等职业学校。学院地处第五个国家级新区—兰州新区科教园区，占地面积2708亩，建筑面积100.3万平方米，总投资50多亿元。设有城市建设、理工、卫生健康、财经商贸、教育艺术、农林科技、旅游航空、继续教育等8个二级学院，在校学生2.55万人（其中高职学生1.72万人，中职学生8300人），教职工1378人（其中在编教职工1175人，外聘教师203人）。

Lanzhou Modern Vocational College was founded in 2016, established on the basis of 10 former secondary vocational schools affiliated to Lanzhou City. It is a full-time public higher vocational college located in the Science and Education Park of Lanzhou New Area, the fifth national-level new area. The college covers an area of 2708 mu with a construction area of 1,003,000 square meters and a total investment of over 5 billion yuan. It consists of 8 secondary colleges, including Urban Construction, Science and Technology, Health and Wellness, Finance and Business, Education and Art, Agriculture and Forestry Science and Technology, Tourism and Aviation, and Continuing Education, with a total enrollment of 25,500 students (including 17,200 vocational college students and 8,300 secondary vocational students) and 1,378 faculty members (including 1,175 regular faculty and 203 external teachers).

学院坚持以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，围绕强省会战略和技能甘肃建设，以立德树人为根本，以创建“双高院校”为目标，深化教育教学改革。现开设专业117个（高职60个、中职57个），与区域产业匹配度达77%以上，拥有省级骨干专业、课程思政示范专业等多个重点专业，1+X证书制度试点专业38个。实习实训条件优越，建有校内大型生产型实训车间14个、实训实验室350间，实训工位10947个，设备总值3.88亿元。近年来毕业生去向落实率保持在90%以上，先后被评为全省教育综合改革试点培育学校、甘肃省中小学职业启蒙劳动教育实践基地等多项荣誉称号。

Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the college focuses on the "Strong Provincial Capital Strategy" and "Skill-based Gansu" construction, taking moral education as the foundation and building a "Double High-Level College" as the goal to deepen educational and teaching reforms. It currently offers 117 majors (60 for higher vocational education and 57 for secondary vocational education), with over 77% alignment with regional industries. The college boasts multiple key majors such as provincial backbone majors and curriculum ideological and political demonstration majors, and 38 majors participating in the "1+X" certificate system pilot. It has superior practical training conditions, including 14 large-scale on-campus production training workshops, 350 training laboratories, 10,947 training stations, with total equipment value of 388 million yuan. In recent years, the employment rate of graduates has remained above 90%, and the college has been awarded titles such as "Gansu Provincial Pilot Cultivation School for Comprehensive Educational Reform" and "Gansu Provincial Practice Base for Vocational Enlightenment and Labor Education in Primary and Secondary Schools".
