广东岭南职业技术学院始办于1993年的广州岭南文化技术学校，2001年5月经广东省人民政府批准成立，是一所以大健康类专业为主体，以电子信息类、智能制造类、财经商贸类和文化艺术类专业为支撑的民办高等职业技术院校。学院现有广州和清远两大校区，截至2023年12月，校园总面积1296亩，校舍建筑面积68万余平方米，教学、科研仪器设备总值1.986亿元，纸质图书逾175万册，电子图书逾83万种；有高职在校生14667人，拥有教职工总数1567人（含兼职教师297人），其中专任教师1184人；开设42个高职招生专业。

Guangdong Lingnan Institute of Technology originated from Guangzhou Lingnan Cultural and Technical School founded in 1993. Approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province in May 2001, it is a private higher vocational and technical college with health-related majors as the mainstay, supported by electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, finance and business, and culture and art majors. The college has two campuses in Guangzhou and Qingyuan. As of December 2023, the total campus area is 1,296 mu, with a building area of over 680,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 198.6 million yuan, with more than 1.75 million paper books and over 830,000 electronic books. There are 14,667 vocational college students and a total of 1,567 faculty members (including 297 part-time teachers), among whom 1,184 are full-time teachers, offering 42 higher vocational enrollment majors.

学院为广东省民办唯一一所高职示范性院校，连续三轮获得广东省大学生创新创业示范学校，获批省发改委立项广东省高校唯一的省级产教融合示范园区重点建设项目。近三年获得广东省教学成果奖4项，创校以来为社会培养了近10万名高素质技术技能型人才。其中国家级重点专业4个，省级高水平专业群5个（护理、中药学、软件技术、模具设计与制造、动漫制作技术），省级二类品牌建设专业2个（中药学、中小企业创业与经营）。

The college is the only private higher vocational demonstration college in Guangdong Province, having won the title of Guangdong Provincial College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration School for three consecutive rounds. It has been approved by the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission as the only key construction project of the provincial industry-education integration demonstration park among universities in Guangdong. In the past three years, it has won 4 Guangdong Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards and has cultivated nearly 100,000 high-quality technical and skilled talents for the society since its establishment. It has 4 national key majors, 5 provincial high-level professional groups (Nursing, Chinese Materia Medica, Software Technology, Mold Design and Manufacturing, Animation Production Technology), and 2 provincial second-class brand construction majors (Chinese Materia Medica, Small and Medium Enterprise Entrepreneurship and Management).
