白城医学高等专科学校始建于1958年，前身为吉林省白城卫生学校，2004年经教育部批准恢复为医学高等专科学校，是吉林西部大兴安岭南麓片区唯一一所省属医学类高等专科学校。学校秉持“学贯中西，精医崇德”的办学理念，面向全国25个省（自治区、直辖市）招生，全日制统招学生8700人，设有临床医学、口腔医学、药学、护理等27个专业，涵盖医学、理学、管理学、中药学四个学科门类。

Bai Cheng Medical College was founded in 1958, formerly known as Jilin Province Baicheng Health School. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2004, it was restored as a medical college and is the only provincial medical college in the southern foot area of the Daxing'an Mountains in western Jilin. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Integrating Chinese and Western Learning, Excelling in Medicine and Upholding Virtue", the college enrolls students from 25 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country, with 8,700 full-time students. It offers 27 majors including Clinical Medicine, Stomatology, Pharmacy, and Nursing, covering four disciplines: Medicine, Science, Management, and Chinese Materia Medica.

学校占地935.99亩，建筑面积26.15万平方米，仪器设备总值2.43亿元，图书119.50万册。2025年，白城中心医院（三甲）划归学校成为直属附属医院。护理专业为吉林省特色高水平高职专业（群），2024年学生在世界职业院校技能大赛总决赛医药卫生赛道护理技能小组争夺赛中荣获银奖。学校先后荣获吉林省文明单位、吉林省黄炎培职业教育优秀学校等荣誉，为社会培养输送了近7万名医药卫生人才。

The college covers an area of 935.99 mu (about 62.4 hectares) with a building area of 261,500 square meters. The total value of instruments and equipment is 243 million yuan, and the library has 1.195 million books. In 2025, Baicheng Central Hospital (Grade III A) was assigned to the college as its directly affiliated hospital. The Nursing major is a Jilin Provincial Characteristic High-level Vocational Major (Group). In 2024, students won the silver medal in the Nursing Skills Team Competition of the Medical and Health Track at the World Vocational College Skills Competition Finals. The college has successively won honors such as Jilin Provincial Civilized Unit and Jilin Provincial Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Excellent School, and has cultivated nearly 70,000 medical and health talents for the society.
