渤海船舶职业学院坐落于辽宁省葫芦岛市，是一所公办理工类专科（高职）院校。学院前身为创建于1956年的渤海船舶工业学校，先后隶属于原第一、第三、第六机械工业部和中国船舶工业总公司，主要为国家船舶工业和军工产业培养专业技术人才。2001年经辽宁省人民政府批准，渤海船舶工业学校与葫芦岛电视大学、葫芦岛市师范学校合并设立渤海船舶职业学院。

Bohai Shipbuilding Vocational College is a public engineering vocational college located in Huludao City, Liaoning Province. Its predecessor was Bohai Shipbuilding Industry School founded in 1956, which was successively affiliated to the former First, Third, and Sixth Ministry of Machinery Industry and China State Shipbuilding Corporation, mainly cultivating professional and technical talents for the national shipbuilding industry and military industry. In 2001, approved by the People's Government of Liaoning Province, Bohai Shipbuilding Industry School merged with Huludao TV University and Huludao Normal School to establish Bohai Shipbuilding Vocational College.

学院是国家示范性骨干高职院校、海军和武警士官定向培养院校，2019年船舶工程技术专业群入选中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划（国家双高计划）。校园占地728亩，建筑面积23.7万平方米，固定资产总值11.1亿元，教学仪器设备总值1.69亿元，现有全日制在校生11168人，教职工626人，其中专任教师528人，正高级职称73人，副高级职称227人。

The college is a national demonstration backbone higher vocational college, and a directional training institution for naval and armed police non-commissioned officers. In 2019, its Shipbuilding Engineering Technology professional group was selected into the China特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划 (National Double High-Level Plan). The campus covers an area of 728 mu, with a building area of 237,000 square meters, a total fixed asset value of 1.11 billion yuan, and teaching equipment value of 169 million yuan. There are currently 11,168 full-time students and 626 faculty members, including 528 full-time teachers, 73 with senior professional titles, and 227 with associate senior professional titles.
