长春医学高等专科学校始建于1936年，1958年升格为长春医学专科学校，1978至1992年间连续开办十届临床医学、药学本科专业，1993年经教育部批准为全日制普通高等专科学校。学校占地面积56万平方米，现有教职工495人，其中博士研究生23人、硕士研究生314人，专任教师373人，硕士以上学历占比81%，副高级以上专业技术职称占比41.9%。

Changchun Medical College was founded in 1936. It was upgraded to Changchun Medical College in 1958 and ran undergraduate programs in clinical medicine and pharmacy for ten consecutive sessions from 1978 to 1992. In 1993, it was approved by the Ministry of Education as a full-time ordinary higher vocational college. The school covers an area of 560,000 square meters and currently has 495 faculty members, including 23 doctoral students, 314 master students, and 373 full-time teachers. Those with master's degree or above account for 81% of full-time teachers, and those with associate senior professional titles or above account for 41.9%.

学校现开设医药卫生、食品药品等四大类别28个专业，覆盖医药健康领域全产业链，累计为社会输送专业人才8万余名，目前在校生1.3万人。学校坚持需求导向推进教育教学改革，构建政行企校"四位一体"产学研平台，牵头组建吉林省医药职业教育集团等机构，与159家单位建立合作关系，获评吉林省"双高计划"建设单位及全国科普教育基地。

The school now offers 28 majors in four categories including medicine and health, food and drugs, covering the entire industrial chain of the medical and health field. It has cumulatively trained over 80,000 professional talents for the society and currently has 13,000 students. Adhering to demand-oriented education and teaching reform, the school has built a "four-in-one" industry-university-research platform involving government, industry, enterprises and the school. It has led the establishment of Jilin Provincial Medical Vocational Education Group and other institutions, established cooperative relations with 159 units, and was awarded as a Jilin Provincial "Double High Plan" construction unit and a national science popularization education base.
