大连汽车职业技术学院是经辽宁省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的省属全日制民办普通高等职业院校，是辽宁省首家以汽车冠名的高职院校、国家级实训基地、国家职业技能鉴定中心、国家重点建设培训培养基地、国家计算机信息高新技术考试基地、特有工种职业技能鉴定中心、全国十大优秀孔子学堂、大连职业教育先进单位、大连市安全校园先进单位、大连市国防预征青年培训基地。

Dalian Vocational and Technical College of Automobile is a provincial full-time private higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Liaoning Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is the first higher vocational college named after automobile in Liaoning Province, a national training base, a national vocational skill appraisal center, a national key construction training base, a national computer information high-tech examination base, a special type of work vocational skill appraisal center, one of the top ten excellent Confucius schools in China, an advanced unit of vocational education in Dalian, an advanced unit of safe campus in Dalian, and a training base for national defense pre-recruited youth in Dalian.

学院坐落于辽宁省魅力海滨城市——大连，依山傍海，群山环绕，紧靠大连北站，地理位置优越，环境优美。设有三系两部（汽车技术系、经济管理系、文化艺术系、公共基础部、思政部），开设汽车检测与维修技术、新能源汽车技术、智能网联汽车技术等22个专业，拥有12000平方米教学大楼及发动机实训中心、新能源实训中心等现代化教学设施，副高以上职称教师24人，形成“产教融合、校企合作”的技术技能人才培养模式，连续多年在全国职业技能大赛中荣获奖牌65枚，为汽车产业培养高素质技术技能人才。

The college is located in the charming coastal city of Dalian, Liaoning Province, surrounded by mountains and the sea, and close to Dalian North Railway Station, enjoying a superior geographical location and beautiful environment. It has three departments and two divisions (Automotive Technology Department, Economic Management Department, Cultural and Art Department, Public Foundation Department, and Ideological and Political Department), offering 22 majors such as Automobile Inspection and Maintenance Technology, New Energy Vehicle Technology, and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Technology. The college has a 12,000-square-meter teaching building and modern teaching facilities such as an engine training center and a new energy training center. There are 24 teachers with associate senior titles or above, forming a technical and skilled talent training model of "integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation". It has won 65 medals in national vocational skills competitions for many years, cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for the automotive industry.
