大连职业技术学院是大连市人民政府直属的全日制普通高等职业院校，全国百所国家示范性高等职业院校之一，国家优质高等专科学校，辽宁省双高建设校，辽宁省兴辽卓越院校和兴辽卓越专业群项目A档建设单位。2019年2月，学校与大连广播电视大学优化整合为大连职业技术学院（大连开放大学）。

Dalian Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college directly under the Dalian Municipal People's Government. It is one of the national示范性 higher vocational colleges, a national high-quality higher vocational college, a key construction university in Liaoning Province's "Double High-Level" plan, and an A-level construction unit for Liaoning Province's Xingliao Excellent Colleges and Professional Groups Project. In February 2019, the college was optimized and integrated with Dalian Radio and Television University to form Dalian Vocational and Technical College (Dalian Open University).

学校现有夏家河子、南关岭、普湾和白云四个校区，总占地面积103.2万平方米，全日制高职在校生13,537人，教职工853人，其中专任教师534人，双师型专任教师393人。开设涵盖装备制造、电子信息、财经商贸等9个专业大类43个专业，拥有国家级示范专业7个、《高等职业教育创新发展行动计划》骨干专业8个，省级以上重点专业占比达65%。

The college has four campuses: Xiajiahezi, Nanguanling, Puwan, and Baiyun, covering a total area of 1.032 million square meters. It has 13,537 full-time vocational students and 853 faculty members, including 534 full-time teachers and 393 "dual-qualified" teachers. The college offers 43 majors across 9 disciplines, including equipment manufacturing, electronic information, and finance and trade. It boasts 7 national demonstration majors, 8 key majors under the "Higher Vocational Education Innovation and Development Action Plan", with provincially-level key majors accounting for 65% of total majors.

学校建有19个实训中心、189个实训室，其中3个为中央财政支持的国家级实训基地，3个辽宁省职业教育创新型实训基地。深化校企合作，与英特尔、海尔等千余家企业开展订单培养，每年组建订单班40个以上，毕业生去向落实率连续保持95%以上，是全国职业教育先进单位、辽宁省普通高校毕业生就业工作先进单位。

The college has built 19 training centers and 189 training rooms, including 3 national-level training bases supported by central finance and 3 innovative vocational education training bases in Liaoning Province. It has deepened school-enterprise cooperation, carrying out order-based training with over 1,000 enterprises such as Intel and Haier, establishing more than 40 order classes annually. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for consecutive years. The college is an Advanced Unit in National Vocational Education and an Advanced Unit for Graduate Employment among Liaoning Provincial Colleges and Universities.
