甘肃建筑职业技术学院是经甘肃省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的省内唯一一所建筑类公办高等职业院校。学院始建于1958年，2001年由原甘肃省建筑职工工程学院、甘肃省建筑工程学校、甘肃省建筑职工中等专业学校三校合并组建成立。学校现有兰州和康乐两个校区，设有10个教学部门，开设以土木建筑为核心的8个专业群41个专业，全日制在校学生11000余人。

Gansu Construction Vocational and Technical College is the only public higher vocational college specializing in architecture in Gansu Province, approved by the Gansu Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1958, the college was established in 2001 through the merger of the former Gansu Construction Workers' Engineering College, Gansu Construction Engineering School, and Gansu Construction Workers' Secondary Professional School. It has two campuses in Lanzhou and Kangle, with 10 teaching departments offering 41 majors in 8 professional groups centered on civil engineering and architecture, and over 11,000 full-time students.

学校坚持“质量立校、全员育人、特色办学、创新发展”的办学理念，先后被确定为教育部现代学徒制试点院校、教育部1+X证书制度试点院校、甘肃省示范性高职院校、甘肃省优质高等职业院校。建有国家级生产性实训基地4个、国家级示范性虚拟仿真实训基地1个，省级职业教育示范性实训基地3个，与政府、企业共建校外实习实训基地126个。

Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "quality-oriented, all-staff education, characteristic school-running, and innovative development", the college has been successively identified as a pilot institution for the modern apprenticeship system of the Ministry of Education, a pilot institution for the 1+X certificate system of the Ministry of Education, a model higher vocational college in Gansu Province, and a high-quality higher vocational college in Gansu Province. It has 4 national-level productive training bases, 1 national-level demonstration virtual simulation training base, 3 provincial-level vocational education demonstration training bases, and 126 off-campus internship and training bases co-built with governments and enterprises.

学校重视师资队伍建设，现有专任教师566人，其中省级“双师型”教师300人，高级以上职称203人。荣获全国黄炎培职业教育杰出教师奖1人，省级黄炎培职业教育杰出校长奖1人、杰出教师奖3人，建有国家级技能大师工作室1个，省级技能大师、名师等工作室15个。近五年，教师荣获全国职业院校技能大赛教学能力比赛三等奖1项，省级职业院校技能大赛教学能力比赛一等奖3项。

The college attaches great importance to the construction of the teaching staff, with 566 full-time teachers, including 300 provincial-level "double-qualified" teachers and 203 with senior titles or above. It has won 1 National Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Outstanding Teacher Award, 1 Provincial Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Outstanding Principal Award, and 3 Provincial Outstanding Teacher Awards. There is 1 national-level skill master studio and 15 provincial-level skill master and famous teacher studios. In the past five years, teachers have won 1 third prize in the teaching ability competition of the National Vocational College Skills Competition and 3 first prizes in the teaching ability competition of the Provincial Vocational College Skills Competition.

建校60多年来，学校为祖国建设事业培育输送了6万多名高素质、受欢迎的建筑人才，毕业生遍及全国。学校坚持以服务发展为宗旨，以促进就业为导向，深化产教融合、校企合作，努力培养适应建筑行业发展需要的技术技能人才，为区域经济社会发展和建筑行业转型升级作出了积极贡献。

Over the past 60 years since its establishment, the college has cultivated and transported more than 60,000 high-quality and popular architectural talents for the country's construction cause, with graduates all over the country.
