吉林工程职业学院是吉林省教育厅主管的省属公办全日制职业高等学校，坐落于美丽的英雄城——吉林省四平市。学校始建于1958年，是新中国成立后较早建立的普通高等院校之一，曾于建校之初和1978年国家恢复高考时期两度举办本科教育。经过60余年的发展，学校已形成以高等职业教育为主，兼有成人教育、短期培训、职业技能鉴定的综合性办学格局，涵盖工、农、管、医等多学科领域，先后荣获全国职业院校双师型教师队伍建设典型学校、全国百所乡村振兴人才培养优质校等称号。

Jilin Engineering Vocational College is a public full-time vocational higher education institution under the administration of Jilin Provincial Department of Education, located in the beautiful Hero City - Siping, Jilin Province. Founded in 1958, it is one of the earliest established institutions of higher learning after the founding of New China, and has offered undergraduate education twice, once at its establishment and again in 1978 when the national college entrance examination was restored. After more than 60 years of development, the college has formed a comprehensive educational structure focusing on higher vocational education, supplemented by adult education, short-term training, and vocational skill appraisal, covering multiple disciplines including engineering, agriculture, management, and medicine. It has been awarded titles such as "National Model School for the Construction of 'Double-qualified' Teacher Teams in Vocational Colleges" and "National Top 100 Quality Schools for Rural Revitalization Talent Cultivation".

学校秉持“厚德精术，知行合一”的校训，深化产教融合、校企合作，构建了粮食食品、现代制造、汽车工程等八大专业群，开设机械设计与制造、食品营养与检测等39个专业。现有全日制在校生8200余人，教职工400余人，其中教授、副教授137人，“双师型”教师占比达44%。教学设施完善，拥有国家级农产品加工与检测生产性实训基地等73个专业实验室，校外实习基地200余个，图书馆藏书31万册，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上。

Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue and Expertise, Integration of Knowledge and Practice", the college deepens industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, establishing eight major professional groups including grain food, modern manufacturing, and automotive engineering, offering 39 majors such as Mechanical Design and Manufacturing, Food Nutrition and Testing. It currently has over 8,200 full-time students and more than 400 faculty members, including 137 professors and associate professors, with "double-qualified" teachers accounting for 44%. The teaching facilities are well-equipped, featuring 73 professional laboratories including a national-level productive training base for agricultural product processing and testing, over 200 off-campus internship bases, and a library with 310,000 books. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for many consecutive years.

作为吉林省特色高水平高职院校建设单位，学校积极探索“一院两群三品”人才培养模式，与中粮集团、长春一汽等知名企业开展深度合作，建有国家新型职业农民培育示范基地，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批技术技能型人才，正朝着特色鲜明的高水平职业院校目标稳步迈进。

As a construction unit of Jilin Provincial Characteristic High-level Vocational Colleges, the college actively explores the "One College, Two Groups, Three Brands" talent cultivation model, carrying out in-depth cooperation with renowned enterprises such as COFCO Group and FAW Group. It has established a national demonstration base for new-type professional farmer training, cultivating a large number of technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development, and steadily moving towards the goal of a distinctive high-level vocational college.
