吉林水利电力职业学院坐落于吉林省长春市净月区，毗邻长影世纪城和国家5A级风景名胜区——净月潭国家森林公园，是经吉林省政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制高等职业学校，为吉林省双高计划建设校、吉林省现代职业教育改革发展示范校、全国水利文明单位及吉林省精神文明建设先进单位。学校始建于1955年，历经吉林省水利技术干部训练班、吉林省水利职工中等专业学校、吉林省水利水电学校、长春水利电力学校等阶段，2016年升格为全日制普通高等职业学校，现有全日制在校生9500余人，累计培养水利电力专业人才3.5万余人，是松辽流域水利电力高素质技术技能人才的主要培养基地。

Jilin Polytechnic of Water Resources and Electric Engineering is located in the Jingyue District of Changchun City, Jilin Province, adjacent to the Changchun Movie Wonderland and the national 5A-level scenic spot - Jingyue潭 National Forest Park. It is a public full-time higher vocational school approved by the Jilin Provincial Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is a construction school for Jilin Province's "Double High Plan", a model school for the reform and development of modern vocational education in Jilin Province, a national water conservancy civilized unit, and an advanced unit in the construction of spiritual civilization in Jilin Province. Founded in 1955, the school has gone through stages such as the Jilin Provincial Water Conservancy Technical Cadre Training Class, Jilin Provincial Water Conservancy Workers' Secondary Professional School, Jilin Provincial Water Conservancy and Hydropower School, and Changchun Water Conservancy and Electric Power School. It was upgraded to a full-time ordinary higher vocational school in 2016. Currently, it has more than 9,500 full-time students and has cultivated over 35,000 professionals in water conservancy and electric power, serving as a major training base for high-quality technical and skilled talents in water conservancy and electric power in the Songliao River Basin.

学院占地22万平方米，建筑面积13万平方米，固定资产7.65亿元，馆藏图书47万余册，电子图书31万余册。现有教职工286人，其中正高级职称22人、副高级职称44人，博士研究生4人（另有3名在读），硕士研究生168人，省级以上认定的双师型教师62人。设有水利学院、新能源（能源与电力）学院、建筑与测绘学院、管理学院、智能工程学院5个二级学院，开设水利水电建筑工程、发电厂及电力系统、工程测量技术、无人机应用技术等40个专业，拥有50余个校内实习实训室及省内唯一的66KV电力实训基地，与中国电建集团等企业共建37个校外实习实训基地，近年毕业生就业率均达到83%以上。

The college covers an area of 220,000 square meters with a building area of 130,000 square meters, fixed assets of 765 million yuan, a collection of more than 470,000 printed books, and over 310,000 e-books. It has 286 faculty members, including 22 with senior professional titles, 44 with associate senior professional titles, 4 doctoral students (with 3 more pursuing doctoral degrees), 168 master's students, and 62 double-qualified teachers recognized at or above the provincial level. It has 5 secondary colleges: the School of Water Conservancy, the School of New Energy (Energy and Electric Power), the School of Architecture and Surveying, the School of Management, and the School of Intelligent Engineering. It offers 40 majors such as Water Conservancy and Hydropower Construction Engineering, Power Plant and Power System, Engineering Surveying Technology, and UAV Application Technology. The college has more than 50 on-campus internship and training rooms, as well as the only 66KV electric power training base in the province. It has jointly built 37 off-campus internship and training bases with enterprises such as China Power Construction Group. The employment rate of graduates in recent years has reached over 83%.
