集美工业职业学院是2025年3月经福建省人民政府批准设立的专科层次全日制公办高等职业学院，由厦门市人民政府举办，实行省市两级管理、以厦门市为主的管理体制。学校办学渊源可追溯至1920年陈嘉庚先生创办的集美学校商科，现为集美学村家族成员，秉承“诚毅”校训，致力于培养高素质技术技能人才。

Jimei Institute of Industrial Technology is a full-time public higher vocational college at the junior college level approved by the People's Government of Fujian Province in March 2025. Sponsored by the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, it implements a two-level management system by provinces and cities, with Xiamen as the main administrator. Tracing its roots back to the Commerce Department of Jimei School founded by Mr. Tan Kah Kee in 1920, the college is now a member of the Jimei School Village family and adheres to the school motto of "Sincerity and Perseverance" to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents.

学校位于厦门市集美区杏前路22号，地处集美文教区核心地带，东眺集美学村，南邻厦门园博苑，西接智能制造与电子信息产业带，北靠厦门软件园，周边300-600米内有4个地铁站，距厦门北站11公里、高崎机场15公里，交通便捷。校园占地23.49万平方米，总建筑面积20.33万平方米，配备10栋教学楼（含理实一体化实训室）、6栋学生宿舍及28个实训基地，实训工位数达7100个，可容纳学生近7000人。

Located at No.22 Xingqian Road, Jimei District, Xiamen, the college is situated in the core area of Jimei Education Zone, adjacent to Jimei School Village to the east, Xiamen Garden Expo to the south, intelligent manufacturing and electronic information industrial belts to the west, and Xiamen Software Park to the north. With 4 subway stations within 300-600 meters, it is 11 km from Xiamen North Railway Station and 15 km from Gaoqi Airport, enjoying convenient transportation. The campus covers 234,900 square meters with a total construction area of 203,300 square meters, including 10 teaching buildings (with integrated theory-practice training rooms), 6 student dormitories, and 28 training bases with 7,100 training stations, accommodating nearly 7,000 students.

学校师资力量雄厚，现有专任教师263人，其中副高及以上职称94人（含正高6人），双师型教师186名，企业兼职教师34名。专业设置紧密对接厦门市“4+4+6”现代化产业体系，首批开设工业机器人技术、数字化设计与制造技术、智能控制技术、计算机网络技术、新能源汽车检测与维修技术、应用化工技术等6个专业，计划到2029年全日制在校生规模突破4000人，打造立足厦门、服务区域的高水平工科类职业院校。

The college boasts a strong teaching faculty of 263 full-time teachers, including 94 with associate senior titles or above (6 full professors), 186 "double-qualified" teachers, and 34 part-time enterprise instructors. Its programs are closely aligned with Xiamen's "4+4+6" modern industrial system, with the first batch offering 6 majors: Industrial Robot Technology, Digital Design and Manufacturing Technology, Intelligent Control Technology, Computer Network Technology, New Energy Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Technology, and Applied Chemical Technology. The college plans to exceed 4,000 full-time students by 2029, developing into a high-level engineering vocational college rooted in Xiamen and serving the region.
