辽宁机电职业技术学院是经辽宁省人民政府批准、教育部备案的工科类高等职业院校,始建于1965年,前身为国家重点中专辽宁仪器仪表工业学校,2002年独立升格为高等职业技术学院。学校现为国家“双高计划”高水平专业群建设单位、全国第二批深化创新创业教育改革示范高校、国家优质专科高等职业院校,以工科专业为主体,机电类和仪器仪表类专业为特色,形成全日制学历教育、职业培训与科研技术服务并重的发展格局。
