辽宁农业职业技术学院始建于1948年，前身为辽宁省熊岳农业学校，1999年经教育部批准更名为辽宁农业职业技术学院，是国家示范性高等职业院校、中国特色高水平专业群建设单位（A档）。学院坐落于辽宁省营口市鲅鱼圈区，占地1358.1亩，校园环境优美，是全国绿化模范单位和辽宁省最美校园。学院现有教职工530人，其中“双师素质”教师占专任教师总数的90%，设有农学园艺学院、畜牧兽医学院等7个二级学院及46个专业，涉农专业比例超70%，其中国家精品专业1个、国家重点建设专业8个，面向全国19个省市区招生，现有在籍学生13011人。

Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1948, formerly known as Liaoning Xiongyue Agricultural School. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 1999, it was renamed Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College. It is a national demonstration higher vocational college and a construction unit (Grade A) of China's characteristic high-level professional groups. Located in Bayuquan District, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, the college covers an area of 1358.1 mu with a beautiful campus environment, being a national model unit for greening and one of the most beautiful campuses in Liaoning Province. The college has 530 faculty members, among whom 90% of the full-time teachers are "double-qualified" teachers. It has 7 secondary colleges including the College of Agronomy and Horticulture, the College of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, and 46 majors, with agricultural-related majors accounting for over 70%. There is 1 national excellent major and 8 national key construction majors. The college enrolls students from 19 provinces and cities across the country, with 13,011 registered students.

学院以培养高素质技术技能人才为目标，构建了“校企贯通、工学结合”的人才培养模式，建有75个校内实训基地和356家校外紧密型实训基地，与650家大中型企业建立稳定合作关系。近年来荣获国家级教学成果奖5项，拥有国家级教学团队2个、省级教学团队6个，是全国深化创新创业教育改革示范校、全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，为农业现代化和区域经济发展输送了大批实用型人才。

With the goal of cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents, the college has constructed a talent training model of "school-enterprise integration and work-study combination". It has 75 on-campus training bases and 356 off-campus close training bases, establishing stable cooperative relations with 650 large and medium-sized enterprises. In recent years, it has won 5 national teaching achievement awards, and has 2 national teaching teams and 6 provincial teaching teams. It is a national demonstration school for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform and a national high-quality school for rural revitalization talent training. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for many years, providing a large number of practical talents for agricultural modernization and regional economic development.
