辽宁医药职业学院是辽宁省职业教育改革发展示范校，是辽宁省唯一一所培养护理、药学、医学技术、康复技术、健康管理类技术技能人才的省属公办医药类全日制普通高等职业院校。学院前身是辽宁省医学科学院，创建于1978年；1984年成立辽宁省卫生职工医学院，1998年被确定为辽宁省高等职业教育试点院校，2000年并入原辽宁中医学院（现辽宁中医药大学），2010年从辽宁中医药大学分立，成立辽宁卫生职业技术学院，2014年更名为辽宁医药职业学院。

Liaoning Vocational College of Medicine is a model school for the reform and development of vocational education in Liaoning Province, and the only provincial public full-time ordinary higher vocational college in Liaoning that cultivates technical and skilled talents in nursing, pharmacy, medical technology, rehabilitation technology, and health management. The college's predecessor was the Liaoning Academy of Medical Sciences, founded in 1978; in 1984, Liaoning Health Workers College was established; in 1998, it was designated as a pilot college for higher vocational education in Liaoning Province; in 2000, it was merged into the former Liaoning College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (now Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine); in 2010, it separated from Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to establish Liaoning Health Vocational and Technical College; and in 2014, it was renamed Liaoning Vocational College of Medicine.

学院主校区坐落在沈阳市苏家屯区，毗邻沈阳国际展览中心，本溪校区位于沈本新城。校园总占地面积55.89万平方米，校舍建筑面积23.59万平方米，教学、科研仪器设备总值7386.42万元，馆藏纸质图书35.35万册。设有医学技术系、药学系、护理系、康复技术系、健康管理系等10个院系部，30个专科层次的高职专业，现有省职业教育高水平特色专业群2个，省级品牌、示范专业5个，近五年就业率均保持在97%以上。

The college's main campus is located in Sujiatun District, Shenyang City, adjacent to the Shenyang International Exhibition Center, and the Benxi campus is located in Shenben New City. The total campus area is 558,900 square meters, with a building area of 235,900 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 73.8642 million yuan, and the collection of paper books is 353,500 volumes. It has 10 departments including the Department of Medical Technology, Department of Pharmacy, Department of Nursing, Department of Rehabilitation Technology, and Department of Health Management, offering 30 higher vocational majors at the junior college level. Currently, it has 2 provincial-level high-level characteristic professional groups for vocational education and 5 provincial-level brand and demonstration majors, with an employment rate of over 97% in the past five years.
