乐山职业技术学院是由乐山市人民政府举办的综合性高等职业院校，办学历史可追溯至1951年成立的川南区乐山护士学校，2002年4月经四川省人民政府批准正式组建。学校坐落于世界文化与自然双重遗产乐山大佛和峨眉山之间，位于四川省乐山市苏稽新区青衣江畔，占地面积800余亩，现有教职工1000余人，全日制在校生1.5万余人，双师型教师占比超过90%。

Leshan Vocational & Technical College is a comprehensive higher vocational college sponsored by the Leshan Municipal People's Government. Its educational history dates back to the Chuannan Leshan Nurse School founded in 1951, and it was formally established with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government in April 2002. Located between the world cultural and natural heritage sites of Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei, the college is situated on the banks of the Qingyi River in the Suji New District of Leshan City, Sichuan Province. Covering an area of over 800 mu, it has more than 1,000 faculty members and over 15,000 full-time students, with "dual-qualification" teachers accounting for more than 90%.

学校设有马克思主义学院、数字经济与管理学院、新能源与材料学院等13个二级学院，开设硅材料制备技术、护理、口腔医学、智能制造等48个专业，形成了医药卫生、财经旅游、智能制造、新能源与材料等多元学科专业体系。拥有3个国家级骨干专业、2个省级高水平专业群，是四川省示范性高等职业院校、四川省优质高等职业学校、教育部第三批现代学徒制试点学校，先后为国家培养输送各类技术技能人才10余万人。

The college has 13 secondary colleges including the School of Marxism, School of Digital Economy and Management, and School of New Energy and Materials, offering 48 majors such as Silicon Material Preparation Technology, Nursing, Stomatology, and Intelligent Manufacturing. It has formed a diversified disciplinary and professional system covering medical and health, finance and tourism, intelligent manufacturing, new energy and materials. With 3 national key majors and 2 provincial high-level professional groups, it is a Sichuan Provincial Demonstrative Higher Vocational College, a Sichuan Provincial High-Quality Higher Vocational School, and a pilot school for the third batch of modern apprenticeship system of the Ministry of Education. It has cultivated and transported more than 100,000 technical and skilled talents for the country.

学校深化产教融合、校企合作，牵头成立乐山国家高新技术产业开发区产教联合体，与华为、中兴通讯、通威集团等170余家知名企业建立合作关系，建有国家级生产性实训基地、省级虚拟仿真实训基地等教学平台。积极推进国际化办学，是四川省首批来华留学示范基地，在赞比亚建立海外分校，与24个国家和地区开展教育交流合作，获评教育部智能制造领域中外人文交流人才培养基地。

The college deepens industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, takes the lead in establishing the Industry-Education Consortium of Leshan National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, and has established cooperative relations with more than 170 well-known enterprises such as Huawei, ZTE, and Tongwei Group. It has built teaching platforms such as national productive training bases and provincial virtual simulation training bases. Actively promoting international education, it is the first batch of demonstration bases for international students in Sichuan Province, has established an overseas branch in Zambia, carried out educational exchanges and cooperation with 24 countries and regions, and was awarded the Sino-foreign Cultural Exchange Talent Training Base in the field of intelligent manufacturing by the Ministry of Education.
