青岛农业大学始建于1951年，建有城阳、平度、莱阳、蓝谷校区和现代农业科技服务中心（胶州），总占地面积5220亩，校舍建筑总面积110余万平方米，仪器设备总值8.76亿元。学校铸就了“厚德、博学、笃行、致远”的校训和“勤奋、严谨、求实、创新”的校风，形成了矢志三农、勤奋求实，自强不息、追求卓越，培养高素质应用型人才的办学特色。现有农、工、理、经、管、文、艺、法等8个学科门类，设有25个教学院部，2个博士学位授权一级学科，14个硕士学位授权一级学科，13个专业学位硕士授权类别，82个本科专业，全日制在校生3万余人，形成了本科教育、研究生教育、继续教育、留学生教育协调发展的多层次办学格局。

Qingdao Agricultural University was founded in 1951, with campuses in Chengyang, Pingdu, Laiyang, Langu and a Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Service Center (Jiaozhou). The total campus area is 5,220 mu, with a total building area of over 1.1 million square meters and teaching equipment worth 876 million yuan. The university has forged the school motto of "Virtue, Erudition, Practice, and Aspiration" and the school spirit of "Diligence, Rigor, Realism, and Innovation", forming the educational characteristics of committing to agriculture, rural areas and farmers, being diligent and realistic, striving for self-improvement and excellence, and cultivating high-quality applied talents. It now covers 8 disciplines including agriculture, engineering, science, economics, management, literature, art, and law, with 25 teaching colleges and departments, 2 first-level disciplines authorized for doctoral degrees, 14 first-level disciplines authorized for master's degrees, 13 professional master's degree categories, and 82 undergraduate majors. 学校拥有一支高水平师资队伍，其中国家级人才87人次，省部级人才220人次，全国高校黄大年式教师团队2个。植物学与动物学、农业科学、化学、工程学、环境与生态学居ESI全球排名前1%，水产学科和农业工程学科为山东省高水平学科。建有国家级科技创新平台10个，省部级创新平台41个。1978年以来累计获得238项省部级以上科技成果奖励，其中14项国家级科技奖励，在植物遗传育种、现代农业装备研发等领域取得突出成就，积极对接产业发展需求推进社会服务工作，获山东省农业科研与技术推广先进单位等荣誉。

The university boasts a high-level faculty, including 87 national-level talents, 220 provincial-level talents, and 2 national Huang Danian-style teacher teams. Its disciplines of Botany & Zoology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Engineering, and Environment & Ecology rank among the top 1% in ESI global rankings. Aquaculture and Agricultural Engineering are high-level disciplines in Shandong Province. The university has established 10 national-level scientific and technological innovation platforms and 41 provincial-level ones. Since 1978, it has accumulated 238 scientific and technological achievement awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level, including 14 national-level awards. Notable achievements have been made in plant genetics and breeding, modern agricultural equipment research and development, etc. It actively promotes social service work to meet industrial development needs and has been honored as an Advanced Unit in Agricultural Scientific Research and Technology Promotion in Shandong Province.
