西安戏剧学院是陕西省在文化强国、教育强国建设的新时代背景下创建的一所高起点、高定位公办新型艺术类本科院校，是全国第三所公办戏剧类本科院校，于2025年正式揭牌成立。学院位于西安市西咸新区秦汉新城兰池大道369号，占地面积699亩（净用地432亩），校园环境优美、交通便利，教学设施先进，仪器设备总值3023.16万元，纸质图书25.06万册，为师生教学和生活创造了良好条件。

Xi'an Academy of Drama is a public new-type undergraduate art college established under the background of building a culturally strong country and an educationally strong country in Shaanxi Province. It is the third public undergraduate drama college in China and was officially unveiled in 2025. Located at No. 369, Lanchi Avenue, Qinhan New City, Xixian New Area, Xi'an, the college covers an area of 699 mu (432 mu of net land). With beautiful campus environment, convenient transportation and advanced teaching facilities, it has a total value of 30.2316 million yuan in instruments and equipment and 250,600 paper books, creating good conditions for teachers and students' teaching and life.

学院以“戏剧人才培养+非遗保护+文化振兴”为核心定位，构建了“三系三中心一部一附校”的教学科研体系，设有戏剧表演系、戏剧文学系、戏剧舞台美术系、基础教学部（思政部）、中国非物质文化遗产（地方戏剧）保护研习中心、中国地方戏剧创作中心、戏剧文化艺术国际交流中心及附属中等艺术学校，开设戏剧影视文学、非物质文化遗产保护等本科专业，致力于培养戏剧表演、戏曲传承、舞美影视等领域高素质人才，破解西部戏剧人才断层问题，与中央戏剧学院、上海戏剧学院形成差异化发展。

With the core positioning of "drama talent training + intangible cultural heritage protection + cultural revitalization", the college has built a teaching and research system of "three departments, three centers, one department and one affiliated school", including the Department of Drama Performance, the Department of Drama Literature, the Department of Drama Stage Art, the Basic Teaching Department (Ideological and Political Department), the China Intangible Cultural Heritage (Local Drama) Protection and Research Center, the China Local Drama Creation Center, the International Exchange Center for Drama Culture and Art, and the Affiliated Secondary Art School. It offers undergraduate majors such as戏剧影视文学 (Drama, Film and Television Literature) and 非物质文化遗产保护 (Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection), committed to cultivating high-quality talents in the fields of drama performance, traditional opera inheritance, stage art and film and television, solving the problem of the fault of drama talents in western China, and forming a differentiated development with the Central Academy of Drama and Shanghai Theatre Academy.
