广州科技职业技术大学创办于1999年，前身为广东南大专修学院，2004年经广东省人民政府批准升格为广州科技职业技术学院，2018年升格为本科层次职业学校，2019年经教育部批准更名为广州科技职业技术大学，是全国首批职业本科大学之一。

Guangzhou Vocational and Technical University of Science and Technology was founded in 1999, formerly known as Guangdong Nanda College. In 2004, it was upgraded to Guangzhou Vocational and Technical College of Science and Technology with the approval of the People's Government of Guangdong Province. In 2018, it was upgraded to an undergraduate vocational school, and in 2019, it was renamed Guangzhou Vocational and Technical University of Science and Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education, becoming one of the first batch of vocational undergraduate universities in China.

学校形成“一校两区”发展格局，广州校区位于白云区钟落潭高校园区，滨海校区位于茂名市电白区高地智慧城，两校区总占地面积1607亩，建筑面积近70万平方米。学校以工为主，经、管、文、艺多学科协调发展，开设21个本科专业、14个普通专升本专业及16个专科专业，现有全日制在校生约2万人，教学科研仪器设备总值超2亿元，图书馆馆藏纸质图书193万册。

The university has formed a development pattern of "one university, two campuses". The Guangzhou Campus is located in the Zhongluotan University Park, Baiyun District, and the Binhai Campus is located in Gaodi Smart City, Dianbai District, Maoming City. The total area of the two campuses is 1607 mu, with a construction area of nearly 700,000 square meters. Focusing on engineering, the university develops coordinately with multiple disciplines including economics, management, literature and art. It offers 21 undergraduate majors, 14 general college-upgrading majors and 16 junior college majors, with about 20,000 full-time students. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment exceeds 200 million yuan, and the library has a collection of 1.93 million paper books.

学校深化产教融合，建有7个校企共建产业学院、207间校内实验实训室及344家校外实习实训基地，拥有国家级备案众创空间、广东省品牌专业等教学科研平台，致力于培养高素质技术技能型人才。

The university deepens the integration of industry and education, has built 7 school-enterprise co-built industrial colleges, 207 on-campus experimental training rooms and 344 off-campus internship and training bases. It also has teaching and research platforms such as a national-level registered maker space and Guangdong provincial brand majors, committed to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents.
