明达职业技术学院1995年获江苏省人民政府批准筹建，1999年经国家教育部批准，成为具有独立颁发大专文凭资格的全日制普通高校，校址位于盐城市射阳县。学院秉承“忠、诚、勤、和”的校训，坚持“崇知、尚才，勤学、上进”的办学理念，致力于培养生产、建设、管理、服务一线的高素质高技能型人才。

Mingda Vocational and Technical College was approved for preparation by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province in 1995 and officially accredited by the Ministry of Education in 1999 as a full-time regular college with the qualification to independently issue college diplomas. Located in Sheyang County, Yancheng City, the college adheres to the school motto of "Loyalty, Sincerity, Diligence, and Harmony" and the educational philosophy of "Respecting Knowledge, Valuing Talents, Diligent Learning, and Striving for Progress", dedicated to cultivating high-quality and skilled talents for frontline production, construction, management, and service sectors.

学院占地面积近800亩，拥有各类建筑物50余幢，总面积近12万平方米，教学、实训、生活设施完备。现有信息传媒系、机电工程系、经济管理系等5个系部28个专业，在校生近2000人。通过校企合作、专硕直通等特色项目，构建了理论与实践结合的培养模式，为区域经济发展输送了近2万名专业技术人才。

Covering an area of nearly 800 mu, the college has more than 50 buildings with a total area of nearly 120,000 square meters, equipped with complete teaching, training, and living facilities. It currently has 5 departments (including the Department of Information Media, Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Department of Economics and Management) offering 28 majors, with nearly 2,000 students. Through characteristic programs such as school-enterprise cooperation and "Specialized Master's Direct Pathway", the college has established a cultivation model integrating theory and practice, having cultivated nearly 20,000 professional and technical talents for regional economic development.
