鄂尔多斯生态环境职业学院是2014年经内蒙古自治区人民政府批准、教育部备案成立的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，其前身为创建于1978年的鄂尔多斯市农牧学校。学院坐落于鄂尔多斯市康巴什区，占地1100亩，建筑总面积17.3万平方米，布局合理、设施完善，是一所环境优美的园林式学府。

Ordos Vocational College of Eco-Environment is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2014. Its predecessor is Ordos Agricultural and Animal Husbandry School founded in 1978. Located in Kangbashi District, Ordos City, the college covers an area of 1100 mu with a total construction area of 173,000 square meters. It has a reasonable layout, complete facilities and is a beautiful garden-style institution.

学院坚持“修天地技能，塑绿色品格”的核心理念，秉持“品德立心、知识立身、技能立业”的校训，以生态建设与管理、环境监测与保护类专业为建设重点，设有生态工程、市政工程、经济管理、生物技术、机电工程五个系，开设园林技术、环境工程技术、动物医学、大数据与会计等二十多个专业，致力于培养现代化职业技能人才。

Adhering to the core concept of "Cultivating Skills from Nature, Shaping Green Character" and the school motto of "Establishing Virtue, Standing by Knowledge, Achieving Career with Skills", the college focuses on majors related to ecological construction and management, environmental monitoring and protection. It has five departments: Ecological Engineering, Municipal Engineering, Economic Management, Biotechnology, and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, offering more than 20 majors such as Garden Technology, Environmental Engineering Technology, Veterinary Medicine, and Big Data and Accounting, dedicated to cultivating modern vocational and technical talents.

学院先后获评全国环境教育示范学校、全国绿化模范单位等荣誉称号，拥有完善的教学实训设施和雄厚的师资力量，注重产教融合与校企合作，努力构建集教学、培训、职业技能鉴定和技术服务为一体的多功能教育培训中心。

The college has been awarded honors such as National Environmental Education Demonstration School and National Afforestation Model Unit. It has complete teaching and training facilities and strong faculty, focusing on industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, striving to build a multi-functional education and training center integrating teaching, training, vocational skill appraisal and technical services.
