上海民远职业技术学院（以下简称民远学院）是纳入国家正式招生计划的全日制普通高等院校，学制三年，独立颁发国家承认的大专文凭。学院筹建于1998年，2003年经上海市人民政府审核批准建校，2021年通过上海市民办学校分类管理转设工作成为营利性民办高校，全称为上海民远职业技术学院有限公司。

Shanghai Minyuan Vocational and Technical College (hereinafter referred to as Minyuan College) is a full-time ordinary higher education institution included in the national formal enrollment plan, with a three-year academic system and independently issuing nationally recognized college diplomas. The college was founded in 1998, approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government to establish in 2003, and became a for-profit private college through the classification management and transformation of private schools in Shanghai in 2021, with the full name of Shanghai Minyuan Vocational and Technical College Co., Ltd.

学校位于上海市浦东新区唐陆路3892号，紧邻张江高科技园区，南靠迪士尼乐园，区位优势明显。校园环境优美，小桥、凉亭、草坪、湖水相映成趣，现代化的教学楼、图书馆、实训中心、学生公寓等设施鳞次栉比，矗立在川杨河畔。学院现占地120余亩，建筑面积6万多平方米，设有智能工程、经济管理、新媒体、文化旅游、马克思主义5个二级学院及继续教育部、公共基础部，开设跨境电子商务、酒店管理与数字化运营、机电一体化技术、新能源汽车技术等16个专业，生源遍及全国10多个省市。

The school is located at No. 3892 Tanglu Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, close to Zhangjiang High-tech Park and south of Disneyland, with obvious location advantages. The campus has a beautiful environment with small bridges, pavilions, lawns and lakes相映成趣, and modern teaching buildings, libraries, training centers, student apartments and other facilities stand in rows along the Chuanyang River. The college currently covers an area of more than 120 mu, with a building area of more than 60,000 square meters. It has 5 secondary colleges including Intelligent Engineering, Economic Management, New Media, Culture and Tourism, and Marxism, as well as the Continuing Education Department and the Public Foundation Department. It offers 16 majors such as Cross-border E-commerce, Hotel Management and Digital Operation, Mechatronics Technology, and New Energy Vehicle Technology, with students from more than 10 provinces and cities across the country.

学校以“勤奋、敬业、合作、创新”为校训，坚持以培养应用技能型紧缺人才为目标，师资力量雄厚，专兼职教师中高级职称占比达71%以上，并聘请上海交通大学、同济大学等知名高校教授担任兼职教师。学院注重实践教学，与德国、加拿大等国家高校开展合作办学，积极引进国外先进教育资源，为学生提供优质的职业教育服务。

With the school motto of "Diligence, Dedication, Cooperation, Innovation", the school adheres to the goal of cultivating applied and skilled talents in short supply. It has a strong teaching staff, with more than 71% of full-time and part-time teachers having senior professional titles, and also employs professors from well-known universities such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Tongji University as part-time teachers. The college focuses on practical teaching, carries out cooperative education with universities in Germany, Canada and other countries, and actively introduces advanced foreign educational resources to provide high-quality vocational education services for students.
