苏州工业园区职业技术学院（英文简称SIPIVT）坐落于中国最具竞争力的国家级开发区——中新合作苏州工业园区，由新加坡前总理吴作栋先生亲自提议，1997年经江苏省人民政府批准设立。现为全国百所国家示范性高等职业院校之一、江苏省中国特色高水平高职学校建设单位。

Suzhou Industrial Park Institute of Vocational Technology (SIPIVT for short) is located in the Sino-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park, one of China's most competitive national development zones. Proposed by Mr. Goh Chok Tong, former Prime Minister of Singapore, it was approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government in 1997. It is now one of the national model higher vocational colleges and a construction unit of Jiangsu Province's high-level vocational schools with Chinese characteristics.

学校成功借鉴新加坡南洋理工学院的办学模式和国际职教先进经验，形成了多元主体办学、产教深度融合、国际合作交流三大办学特色。设有智能制造学院、人工智能学院等五大学院，开设48个紧贴区域产业需求的专业，各类在校学生12000余人，为长三角地区培养具有国际竞争力的高素质技术技能型人才。

The college has successfully learned from the educational model of Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore and advanced international vocational education experience, forming three major school-running characteristics: multi-subject school-running, deep integration of industry and education, and international cooperation and exchanges. It has five colleges including the College of Intelligent Manufacturing and the College of Artificial Intelligence, offering 48 majors closely meeting regional industrial needs, with more than 12,000 students of various types, cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents with international competitiveness for the Yangtze River Delta region.

学校师资力量雄厚，拥有国家教学名师、省级教学名师等高层次人才50余人，建成国家级实训基地4个、省级产教融合平台4个，先后获得全国职业教育先进单位、全国高职院校就业竞争力示范校等荣誉称号，连续多年被评为江苏省高校毕业生就业工作先进集体。

The college has a strong faculty, with more than 50 high-level talents including national and provincial teaching masters. It has built 4 national-level training bases and 4 provincial-level industry-education integration platforms. It has successively won honors such as National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education and National Model Vocational College for Employment Competitiveness, and has been rated as an Advanced Collective for Employment Work of College Graduates in Jiangsu Province for many years.
