四平职业大学成立于1983年，是吉林省人民政府批准成立、教育部备案的全日制公办普通高等专科学校，也是吉林省成立较早的具有十年办本科历史的高等职业院校。学校占地面积34.4万平方米，建筑面积20万平方米，配备标准图书馆、体育馆、多功能报告厅、400米塑胶风雨操场等完善设施，2010年被确定为吉林省示范性高等职业院校，并于2014年高质量通过全国人才培养工作评估。

Siping Vocational University, founded in 1983, is a full-time public ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Jilin Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is also an earlier-established higher vocational college in Jilin Province with a ten-year history of undergraduate education. The university covers an area of 344,000 square meters with a building area of 200,000 square meters, equipped with complete facilities such as a standard library, gymnasium, multi-functional lecture hall, and a 400-meter塑胶 all-weather track and field. It was designated as a Jilin Provincial Demonstrative Higher Vocational College in 2010 and successfully passed the national talent training work evaluation with high quality in 2014.

学校设有医药学院、机械工程学院等11个教学单位，开设40个招生专业，涵盖医药卫生、机械制造、电子信息等9个学科门类，全日制在校学生近万人。学校秉持“立德树人、技以载道、学以致用、服务发展”的办学理念，培育“忠诚、担当、奋进、笃行”的校风，注重学生创新精神与实践能力培养，技能比赛屡获全国及省级奖项。

The university has 11 teaching units including the School of Medicine and the School of Mechanical Engineering, offering 40 enrollment majors covering 9 disciplines such as medicine and health, machinery manufacturing, and electronic information, with nearly 10,000 full-time students.
