铜川职业技术学院是经陕西省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，2004年由原铜川师范学校、铜川市职工卫校、铜川教育学院、铜川电大四校合并组建，隶属于铜川市人民政府，办学地址位于陕西省铜川新区朝阳路8号。

Tongchuan Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Established in 2004 through the merger of the former Tongchuan Normal School, Tongchuan Municipal Workers' Health School, Tongchuan College of Education, and Tongchuan Radio and Television University, it is affiliated to the Tongchuan Municipal People's Government and located at No. 8 Chaoyang Road, Tongchuan New District, Shaanxi Province.

学院设有师范教育与管理学院、机电工程学院、建筑与材料工程学院、孙思邈医学院四个二级学院及多个教学单位，开设三年制高职专业26个，现有教职工367人（其中专任教师285人），全日制在校生规模1万余人。学院以培养实用型技能人才为目标，建成央财支持专业及实训基地、省级高水平专业群等教学平台，先后荣获全国产教融合示范基地、省级文明校园等多项荣誉。

The college has four secondary colleges including the School of Normal Education and Management, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Architecture and Materials Engineering, and Sun Simiao Medical College, as well as multiple teaching units. It offers 26 three-year higher vocational programs with 367 faculty members (including 285 full-time teachers) and a full-time student enrollment of over 10,000. Aiming to cultivate practical skilled talents, the college has built teaching platforms such as central finance-supported majors and training bases, and provincial-level high-level professional groups. It has been awarded honors including the National Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base and Provincial Civilized Campus.
