天津理工大学中环信息学院是2005年经教育部批准设立，由天津理工大学和天津中环电子信息集团有限公司联合创办的全日制普通本科高等院校，坐落于历史悠久、文化底蕴深厚的千年古镇杨柳青。学院坚持立德树人的根本任务，瞄准国家高等教育改革发展方向与京津冀协同发展战略，以培养高素质应用型人才为己任，努力建设具有产教协同育人特色的应用型大学。2020年，学院被批准为天津市硕士学位授予单位立项建设高校。

Tianjin University of Technology Zhonghuan Information College is a full-time ordinary undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education in 2005. It was co-founded by Tianjin University of Technology and Tianjin Zhonghuan Electronic Information Group Co., Ltd., and is located in the historic town of Yangliuqing with profound cultural heritage. The college adheres to the fundamental task of moral education, aligns with the reform and development direction of national higher education and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy, takes cultivating high-quality applied talents as its mission, and strives to build an application-oriented university with the characteristics of industry-education collaborative education. In 2020, the college was approved as a project construction university for master's degree authorization in Tianjin.

学院设有自动化工程系、机械工程系、电子信息工程系、计算机工程系、经济与管理系5个教学系，开设自动化、电气工程及其自动化、人工智能、计算机科学与技术、软件工程、财务管理等23个专业，形成了以工为主，工、管、理多学科协调发展态势。目前，学院拥有天津市级一流本科专业建设点3个，天津市一流本科建设课程18门，在校生8682人，实验教学配套设施齐全，现有天津市实验教学示范中心2个，各类实验、实训室67个。

The college has 5 teaching departments: Department of Automation Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Electronic Information Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering, and Department of Economics and Management. It offers 23 majors including Automation, Electrical Engineering and Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, and Financial Management, forming a development pattern with engineering as the main focus and coordinated development of engineering, management, and science. Currently, the college has 3 Tianjin municipal first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 18 Tianjin first-class undergraduate courses, 8,682 students, and complete experimental teaching facilities, including 2 Tianjin Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers and 67 various laboratories and training rooms.

学院高度重视实践教学与校企合作，拥有国家级新工科研究与实践项目1项，教育部产学合作协同育人项目51项，与英国、澳大利亚、美国等国外高校开展“3+1”“2+2（双学士学位）”及本升硕等合作项目。毕业生就业率始终保持在同类高校前列，图书馆纸质藏书63万册、电子图书16.5万册，学生生活配套设施齐全，公寓空调全覆盖。

The college attaches great importance to practical teaching and school-enterprise cooperation, with 1 national new engineering research and practice project, 51 industry-university cooperation and collaborative education projects of the Ministry of Education. It has carried out "3+1", "2+2 (double bachelor's degree)" and undergraduate-to-master's cooperation programs with foreign universities in the UK, Australia, the United States, etc. The employment rate of graduates has always remained at the forefront of similar universities. The library has 630,000 paper books and 165,000 e-books, with complete student living facilities and air-conditioning in all apartments.
