焦作新材料职业学院是一所经河南省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案、迄今为止全国唯一以新材料为鲜明标识和个性冠名的具有独立颁发学历证书资格的全日制普通高等职业院校。学校地处河南省焦作市产业集聚核心区域，这里既是司马懿、韩愈、李商隐等名人辈出的历史文化名城，也是河南近现代工业的起源地和国家新型工业化示范基地，拥有云台山世界地质公园等丰富文旅资源，为人才培养和学生就业提供了得天独厚的区位优势。

Jiaozuo New Materials Vocational College is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government, registered with the Ministry of Education, and the only one in China named after new materials as its distinctive feature, with the qualification to independently issue academic certificates. Located in the core industrial agglomeration area of Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, the school is not only a famous historical and cultural city producing celebrities such as Sima Yi, Han Yu, and Li Shangyin, but also the birthplace of modern Henan industry and a national new industrialization demonstration base. It boasts rich cultural and tourism resources like the Yuntai Mountain World Geopark, providing unique geographical advantages for talent cultivation and student employment.

学校始建于2021年1月，占地面积700余亩，已建成园林式校园及教学实训、生活服务等完善设施，投资4000余万元复建元代景贤书院，打造传统文化与思政教育特色阵地。学校依托龙头企业办学优势，开设应用化工技术、新能源材料应用技术等21个专业，拥有38个先进校内实训室和10余个校外实习基地，形成“入学即入职、学习即上岗”的双元制教育模式，致力于培养新材料、智能制造等领域高素质技术技能型人才。

Founded in January 2021, the school covers an area of over 700 mu, with a garden-style campus and complete facilities for teaching, training, and living services. It has invested more than 40 million yuan to rebuild the Yuan Dynasty Jingxian Academy, creating a characteristic platform for traditional culture and ideological and political education. Relying on the advantages of leading enterprises, the school offers 21 majors including Applied Chemical Technology and New Energy Materials Application Technology, with 38 advanced on-campus training rooms and more than 10 off-campus internship bases. It has formed a dual-system education model of "enrollment as employment, learning as on-the-job", dedicated to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents in new materials, intelligent manufacturing and other fields.
