Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is a renowned public university located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, affiliated with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Named after Ton Duc Thang, one of the key founders of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the university was established in 1997. Despite its relatively short history, TDTU has risen to prominence in global university rankings through dedicated research efforts. In the 2024 QS World University Rankings, it placed 721st globally and 199th in Asia. It also ranked in the 101-200 band of the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings and holds AACSB accreditation, with its standards recognized by France's High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education as meeting European university benchmarks.

TDTU features comprehensive interdisciplinary development, offering nearly 40 undergraduate programs, 18 master's programs, and 26 doctoral programs spanning fields such as business administration, engineering technology, computer science, environmental science, and social sciences. Its Chinese language program stands as a core specialty, attracting over a thousand Vietnamese students annually to pursue or minor in Chinese-related studies. The university boasts a faculty of over 1,400 members, with 50% of professors and experts holding degrees from prestigious overseas institutions. It enrolls more than 28,000 students, including over 4,000 international students from 29 countries, achieving a 100% employment rate for graduates, reflecting its strong educational capacity and internationalization level.
