巴中职业技术学院是经四川省人民政府批准、教育部备案，由四川省教育厅主管的全日制普通高等院校。学校整合了1954年创建的巴中师范学校、1959年创建的通江中等职业卫生学校和1990年创建的巴中市技工学校，是川陕革命老区第一所全日制高等学府。

Bazhong Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Sichuan Province, registered with the Ministry of Education, and under the supervision of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. The college integrates Bazhong Normal School founded in 1954, Tongjiang Secondary Vocational Health School founded in 1959, and Bazhong Technical School founded in 1990, making it the first full-time institution of higher learning in the old revolutionary base area of Chuan-Shaan.

学校位于四川省巴中市经济开发区安康路3号，占地面积约550亩，总投资14余亿元，建筑总面积18.12万平方米。设有教育学院、医学院、管理学院、理工学院、中职学院等五个二级学院及多个教学科研机构，开设有33个普通高职专业，现有在校高职学生9425人。

The college is located at No. 3 Ankang Road, Economic Development Zone, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, covering an area of about 550 mu with a total investment of over 1.4 billion yuan and a total building area of 181,200 square meters. It has five secondary colleges including the School of Education, School of Medicine, School of Management, School of Science and Technology, and Secondary Vocational College, as well as multiple teaching and research institutions. It offers 33 general higher vocational majors and currently has 9,425 vocational college students.

学校师资力量雄厚，专任教师389人，校外兼职教师214人，高级职称占比25%，硕博研究生占比35.7%，双师素质教师占比41.9%。图书馆馆藏图书90余万册，各类报刊8000余种，拥有校内实验室124个，实训基地、中心共8个，校外实训基地100余个，教学科研仪器设备总值6000余万元。

The college has a strong faculty, including 389 full-time teachers and 214 part-time teachers from outside the college. Senior professional titles account for 25%, master's and doctoral students account for 35.7%, and "double-qualified" teachers account for 41.9%. The library has a collection of over 900,000 books and more than 8,000 kinds of newspapers and periodicals. It has 124 on-campus laboratories, 8 training bases/centers, and more than 100 off-campus training bases, with a total value of more than 60 million yuan in teaching and research instruments and equipment.

作为革命老区巴中唯一一所全日制高等学府，学校先后荣获教育部国防特色学校、四川省五四红旗团委、平安校园先进单位、民族团结进步创建活动示范单位等荣誉称号，致力于培养适应区域经济社会发展需要的高素质技术技能人才。

As the only full-time institution of higher learning in Bazhong, an old revolutionary base area, the college has successively won honors such as the National Defense Characteristic School of the Ministry of Education, the May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee of Sichuan Province, Advanced Unit of Safe Campus, and Model Unit for National Unity and Progress Creation Activities.
