圣保罗州立大学（Universidade Estadual Paulista，简称UNESP）成立于1976年，是巴西圣保罗州的公立研究型大学，由12所院校合并而成，其历史可追溯至1923年成立的药学与牙科学院。作为巴西三所最大的公立重点大学之一，该校以民主办学为原则，致力于成为集科学、技术、经济、文化和社会发展于一体的综合性机构，在巴西社会中具有重要影响力。

São Paulo State University (Universidade Estadual Paulista, UNESP for short) was founded in 1976. It is a public research university in São Paulo, Brazil, formed by the merger of 12 institutions, with its roots tracing back to the College of Pharmacy and Dentistry established in 1923. As one of the three largest public key universities in Brazil, the university adheres to the principle of democratic education and strives to be a comprehensive institution integrating science, technology, economy, culture, and social development, exerting significant influence in Brazilian society.

学校拥有23个校区，分布在圣保罗州多个城市，提供工程、健康、通信、人文、社会科学和艺术等领域的249种课程。其研究重点包括生物能源、生物技术、气候变化、纳米技术、药物开发等前沿领域，2010年被联合国教科文组织评为巴西国际科学论文发表量第二名。此外，UNESP积极开展国际合作，与全球52个国家的400多所高等教育机构建立了合作关系，为学生提供交换学习和双学位项目机会。

The university has 23 campuses located in multiple cities in São Paulo state, offering 249 courses in fields such as engineering, health, communication, humanities, social sciences, and arts. Its research focuses on cutting-edge areas including bioenergy, biotechnology, climate change, nanotechnology, and drug development. In 2010, it was ranked second in Brazil by UNESCO for the number of international scientific papers published. Furthermore, UNESP actively engages in international cooperation, establishing partnerships with over 400 higher education institutions in 52 countries worldwide, providing students with opportunities for exchange programs and dual-degree programs.

UNESP注重教学与社会服务结合，拥有出版社、附属医院、博物馆及46座图书馆等完善设施，现有学生9万余人及众多顶尖教师和研究人员。学校通过孔子学院等平台深化国际文化交流，累计培养超过3万名汉语学员，并与中国等国家的高校在学术研究、师生互访等领域保持密切合作，成为中巴教育合作的重要纽带。

UNESP emphasizes the integration of teaching and social services, with well-equipped facilities including a publishing house, affiliated hospitals, museums, and 46 libraries. It currently has over 90,000 students and a large number of top teachers and researchers. The university deepens international cultural exchanges through platforms such as the Confucius Institute, having trained over 30,000 Chinese language learners. It also maintains close cooperation with universities in China and other countries in academic research, faculty and student exchanges, serving as an important link for China-Brazil educational cooperation.
