University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) is an outstanding public research university in South Africa, established in 2004 through the merger of the University of Natal and the University of Durban-Westville. Headquartered in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal Province, it has five campuses across the province. Renowned for its high-quality teaching and research capabilities, UKZN excels particularly in engineering, medicine, business, and social sciences, having been awarded the Annual Best Engineering and Technology University by South Africa's Department of Science and Technology and a five-star rating from QS.

UKZN has nearly 40,000 students, including over 2,000 international students from more than 70 countries, fostering a diverse international cultural environment.
