德黑兰大学（波斯语：دانشگاه تهران，英文缩写UT）是伊朗历史最悠久、规模最大的综合性高等学府，被誉为“伊朗大学之母”。该校始建于1934年，初始仅设医学院、技术学院、哲学院、法学院、科学院和文学院六个学院，历经数十年发展，现已成为涵盖自然科学、人文社会科学、工程、医学、制药、农业、法律、政治、经济等多领域的学术重镇，提供111个本科专业、177个硕士专业及156个博士专业。

University of Tehran (Persian: دانشگاه تهران, English abbreviation UT) is the oldest and largest comprehensive institution of higher education in Iran, known as the "Mother of Iranian Universities". Founded in 1934, the university initially had six faculties: Medical School, Technical College, Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Literature. After decades of development, it has now become an academic hub covering multiple fields such as natural sciences, humanities and social sciences, engineering, medicine, pharmacy, agriculture, law, politics, and economics, offering 111 undergraduate programs, 177 master's programs, and 156 doctoral programs.

学校主校区位于德黑兰市中心，部分院系分布于市郊，并在卡腊季、库姆、萨里等城市设有分校，总占地面积达22.5万平方米。其教学科研实力雄厚，设有中东与考古研究、社会扶贫调查、高科技研究等特色专业及研究中心，2025年QS世界大学排名位列第368位，是伊朗高等教育的标杆性 institution。

The main campus is located in the center of Tehran, with some departments distributed in the suburbs and branch campuses in cities such as Karaj, Qom, and Sari, covering a total area of 225,000 square meters. Boasting strong teaching and research capabilities, the university houses specialized programs and research centers in Middle East and archaeological studies, social poverty alleviation surveys, and high-tech research. Ranked 368th in the QS World University Rankings 2025, it stands as a benchmark institution for higher education in Iran.
