延边职业技术学院坐落在享有“教育之乡、礼仪之乡、歌舞之乡和民族团结进步之乡”美誉的全国文明城市——吉林省延边州首府延吉市，是延边州唯一一所州属公办全日制高等院校，由延边州人民政府主办。学院前身是创建于1958年的延边黎明农民大学、1975年的延边职工大学、1955年的延边财经学校和1988年的延边工业学校，2011年2月经吉林省人民政府批准正式成立，同年5月经教育部备案。

Yanbian Vocational and Technical College is located in Yanji City, the capital of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin Province, a national civilized city known as the "Hometown of Education, Etiquette, Song and Dance, and National Unity and Progress". It is the only state-owned public full-time higher education institution in Yanbian Prefecture, sponsored by the Yanbian Prefectural People's Government. The college evolved from Yanbian Liming Farmers University (founded in 1958), Yanbian Staff University (1975), Yanbian Finance and Economics School (1955), and Yanbian Industrial School (1988). It was officially established in February 2011 with the approval of the Jilin Provincial People's Government and filed with the Ministry of Education in May of the same year.

学院位于延吉市朝阳川西部新城，占地面积18.9万平方米，建筑面积9.2万平方米，教学设备先进、生活设施完善，拥有图书文献19.66万册，校内实训室100个。现有编制内教职工202人，其中正副高级职称113人，博士、硕士学位教师66人，吉林省“双师型”教师76人。学院设有6系3部，开设计算机应用技术、智能制造与控制技术、大数据与会计等28个高职专业，其中3个专业（群）入选吉林省特色高水平高职专业（群），现有学生4575人。

The college is situated in the Western New Town of Chaoyangchuan, Yanji City, covering an area of 189,000 square meters with a building area of 92,000 square meters. It boasts advanced teaching equipment, complete living facilities, 196,600 books and documents, and 100 on-campus training rooms. There are 202 faculty members in the establishment, including 113 with senior or associate senior titles, 66 with doctoral or master's degrees, and 76 "double-qualified" teachers in Jilin Province. The college comprises 6 departments and 3 divisions, offering 28 higher vocational majors such as Computer Application Technology, Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Technology, and Big Data and Accounting. Among them, 3 majors (groups) have been selected as Jilin Provincial Characteristic High-level Vocational Majors (Groups), with 4,575 students currently enrolled.

学院先后荣获“相约论语·文化中国”全国先进单位、吉林省特色高水平高职专业（群）院校、吉林省职业教育现代学徒制试点院校等荣誉称号，着力对接延边州产业发展需求，为区域经济社会发展培养技术技能型人才，毕业生就业率、专业对口率和用人单位满意率均保持较高水平，近五年毕业生留吉率达73.53%。

The college has successively won honors such as the National Advanced Unit of "Meet the Analects · Cultural China", Jilin Provincial Characteristic High-level Vocational Major (Group) College, and Jilin Provincial Vocational Education Modern Apprenticeship Pilot College. It focuses on meeting the industrial development needs of Yanbian Prefecture, cultivating technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development. The employment rate, professional matching rate, and employer satisfaction rate of graduates remain high, with the retention rate of graduates in Jilin Province reaching 73.53% in the past five years.
