驻马店幼儿师范高等专科学校是2017年经河南省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等专科院校，以培养学前教育师资为重点，是河南省3所幼儿师范高等专科学校之一，也是豫南地区唯一一所幼儿师范高等专科学校。学校始建于1906年的“汝阳师范传习所”，历经百年发展，形成了以学前教育为龙头、艺术教育为特色、师范类专业为支撑的专业体系，为社会输送了近8万余名基础教育和学前教育教师，是豫南地区幼儿教师培养、培训及教育科学研究中心。

Zhumadian Preschool Education College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Henan Province and registered by the Ministry of Education in 2017. Focusing on cultivating preschool education teachers, it is one of the three preschool normal colleges in Henan Province and the only one in southern Henan. Founded in 1906 as "Ruyang Normal Training Institute", the college has developed over a century into a professional system led by preschool education, featuring art education and supported by normal majors. It has trained nearly 80,000 basic education and preschool teachers for society, serving as a center for preschool teacher training, further education, and educational scientific research in southern Henan.

学校现有驻马店和汝南两个校区，占地24.8万平方米，建筑面积21万余平方米，图书馆藏书95.02万册，全日制在校生13620人，开设学前教育、早期教育、小学教育等19个专业。办学条件优越，拥有VR实训室、钢琴教室、婴幼儿感统实训室等各类专业实训设施及142个实习实训基地，附属市级示范幼儿园1所。近年来荣获“国家级语言文字规范化示范校”“河南省文明校园标兵单位”等多项荣誉称号。

The college has two campuses in Zhumadian and Runan, covering an area of 248,000 square meters with a building area of over 210,000 square meters. Its library houses 950,200 books, and it has 13,620 full-time students enrolled in 19 majors including Preschool Education, Early Childhood Education, and Primary Education. Equipped with superior facilities such as VR training rooms, piano classrooms, infant sensory integration training rooms, and 142 internship bases (including one affiliated municipal demonstration kindergarten), the college has won honors like "National Model School for Language Standardization" and "Henan Provincial Civilized Campus Model Unit" in recent years.
