安徽农业大学是一所位于安徽省合肥市的省属重点大学，是以农林生命学科为优势，理工、经管、文法等多学科协调发展的教学研究型大学。学校始建于1928年，前身为省立安徽大学，历经多次调整与发展，1995年更名为安徽农业大学。学校占地面积3528亩，校园环境优美，教学科研设施完善，拥有多个国家级和省级重点学科、实验室及工程技术研究中心。

Anhui Agricultural University is a key provincial university located in Hefei, Anhui Province. It is a teaching and research-oriented university with advantages in agricultural and forestry life disciplines, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as science, engineering, economics, management, liberal arts and law. Founded in 1928, the university was formerly known as Provincial Anhui University. After many adjustments and developments, it was renamed Anhui Agricultural University in 1995. Covering an area of 3528 mu, the university has a beautiful campus environment and complete teaching and research facilities, with multiple national and provincial key disciplines, laboratories and engineering technology research centers.

学校坚持以立德树人为根本，着力培养知农爱农、复合型、创新型人才。现有全日制普通在校生27000余人，教职工2000余人，其中高级职称教师800余人，拥有一批国家级教学名师、长江学者、国家杰青等领军人才。学校在作物学、林学、畜牧学等领域形成了鲜明的学科特色和科研优势，近年来承担了多项国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金等重大科研项目，科研成果多次获得国家级、省部级奖励。

Currently, there are more than 27,000 full-time ordinary students and more than 2,000 faculty members, including more than 800 teachers with senior titles, and a group of leading talents such as national teaching masters, Yangtze River scholars and National Outstanding Youth Fund winners. The university has formed distinct disciplinary characteristics and scientific research advantages in the fields of crop science, forestry, animal husbandry, etc. In recent years, it has undertaken a number of major scientific research projects such as the National Key R&D Program and the National Natural Science Foundation, and its scientific research achievements have won national and provincial awards for many times.
