安徽公安学院是安徽省唯一一所政法类本科院校，办学历史可追溯至1949年。2024年，本科层次安徽公安学院正式揭牌，位于安徽省合肥市巢湖半岛生态科学城治中路1号，校园面积1062亩，校舍建筑面积15.31万平方米。学院为公办本科层次普通高等院校，首批开设侦查学、治安学、刑事科学技术和网络安全与执法4个本科专业，致力于培养政治坚定、业务精通、作风过硬的公安专门人才，同时承担在职民警培训任务，被誉为“安徽公安警官的摇篮”。

Anhui Police College is the only undergraduate institution of political science and law in Anhui Province, with a history dating back to 1949. In 2024, the undergraduate-level Anhui Police College was officially unveiled, located at No. 1 Zhizhong Road, Chaohu Peninsula Ecological Science City, Hefei City, Anhui Province. The campus covers an area of 1062 mu, with a total building area of 153,100 square meters. As a public undergraduate institution of higher education, the college initially offers four undergraduate majors: Investigation, Public Security, Criminal Science and Technology, and Network Security and Law Enforcement. It is committed to cultivating public security professionals with firm political stance, proficient professional skills, and strong work style, while also undertaking in-service police training tasks, and is known as "the cradle of Anhui public security police officers".

学院坚持“政治建校、从严治校”原则，围绕“警”字特色，构建了学历教育与在职培训并重的办学格局。拥有一支348人的教师队伍，以及符合公安实战需求的综合实训室、模拟指挥中心、全天候射击馆等实训设施。近年来积极开展对外交流合作，与国内外公安院校及机构建立联系，不断提升办学水平，为平安安徽、法治安徽建设输送了大量高素质应用型公安人才。
