珠海艺术职业学院是南粤大地上一所重要的艺术高等学府，前身为1998年创办的中国舞教学研究院，2003年经广东省人民政府批准、教育部备案，成为纳入国家统一招生计划的全日制普通高等院校（学院代码：12576）。学校坐落于珠海特区金湾大学城，依山傍海，环境优美，毗邻港澳，地理位置优越，临近珠海机场及港珠澳大桥，区位优势显著。

Zhuhai Art College is an important higher art institution in southern Guangdong. Its predecessor was the Chinese Dance Teaching Research Institute founded in 1998. In 2003, it was approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and registered with the Ministry of Education, becoming a full-time ordinary higher education institution included in the national unified enrollment plan (college code: 12576). Located in the Jinwan University Town of Zhuhai Special Economic Zone, the college is surrounded by mountains and the sea, with a beautiful environment, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, and enjoys a superior geographical location. It is close to Zhuhai Airport and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, with significant regional advantages.

学校设有音乐舞蹈学院、艺术设计学院、经济管理学院、文化与旅游学院和美术学院，开设包括国家级骨干专业首饰工艺与设计、省级重点建设专业环境艺术设计、音乐表演、省级高水平专业群影视动画等在内的47个专业，涵盖文化艺术、土木建筑、财经商贸、教育与体育、新闻与传播等7大学科门类，形成以艺术教育为特色，文经管协调发展的办学格局。作为中国艺术职业教育学会常务理事单位、CEFA对外文化交流工作委员会秘书长单位，学校还是全国六所首批艺术硕士（MFA）专业学位研究生实践教学基地联盟院校之一。

The college has five schools: the School of Music and Dance, the School of Art and Design, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Culture and Tourism, and the School of Fine Arts. It offers 47 majors, including the national key major of Jewelry Craft and Design, the provincial key construction majors of Environmental Art Design and Music Performance, and the provincial high-level professional group of Film and Television Animation. These majors cover seven disciplines such as culture and art, civil engineering and architecture, finance and commerce, education and sports, and journalism and communication, forming a school-running pattern featuring art education with coordinated development of liberal arts, economics and management. As an executive director unit of the China Art Vocational Education Association and the secretary-general unit of the CEFA Foreign Cultural Exchange Working Committee, the college is also one of the first six alliance institutions for practical teaching bases of Master of Fine Arts (MFA) professional degree postgraduates in China.

学校坚持以就业为导向，注重实践教学与产教融合，与澳门维多利亚酒店、广东长隆集团、珠海大剧院等知名企业共建实习就业基地，历届毕业生就业率达97%以上。同时积极拓展国际交流，与国内外高校开展联合培养项目，为区域文化艺术事业和第三产业发展培养了大批应用型高技能专业人才。

Adhering to an employment-oriented approach, the college emphasizes practical teaching and the integration of industry and education. It has established internship and employment bases with well-known enterprises such as Macau Victoria Hotel, Guangdong Chimelong Group, and Zhuhai Grand Theater, with the employment rate of graduates exceeding 97% for successive years. At the same time, it actively expands international exchanges and carries out joint training programs with domestic and foreign universities, cultivating a large number of applied high-skilled professionals for the development of regional cultural and art undertakings and the tertiary industry.
