承德护理职业学院创建于1978年，前身为承德卫生学校，2010年3月经河北省人民政府批准、教育部备案升格为专科层次普通高校，是河北省唯一一所以护理命名的职业院校。学校坐落于历史文化名城承德，占地286亩，建筑面积10万余平方米，固定资产2.4亿元，教学科研仪器设备总值4700余万元，图书馆藏书45万余册。

Chengde Nursing Vocational College was founded in 1978, formerly known as Chengde Health School. In March 2010, it was approved by the People's Government of Hebei Province and registered by the Ministry of Education to be upgraded to a public college offering junior college education. It is the only vocational college named after nursing in Hebei Province. Located in the famous historical and cultural city of Chengde, the college covers an area of 286 mu, with a building area of over 100,000 square meters, fixed assets of 240 million yuan, total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment of more than 47 million yuan, and a library collection of over 450,000 books.

学院坚持"立足承德、服务河北、面向全国、走向世界"的办学定位，开设护理、临床医学、口腔医学等14个专业，其中国际护理（英语/日语方向）、口腔医学为特色骨干专业，医学检验技术和口腔医学技术为国家支持重点建设专业。校内建有5个实训中心及人体生命科学馆等教学设施，拥有非直属附属医院1家及省内外实习就业基地40余家，近三年毕业生就业率保持在95%以上。

Adhering to the school-running orientation of "based in Chengde, serving Hebei, facing the whole country and going to the world", the college offers 14 majors including nursing, clinical medicine and stomatology. Among them, international nursing (English/Japanese direction) and stomatology are characteristic key majors, while medical laboratory technology and stomatological technology are key construction majors supported by the state. The college has 5 training centers and teaching facilities such as the Human Life Science Museum, 1 non-directly affiliated affiliated hospital and more than 40 internship and employment bases inside and outside the province. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% in the past three years.

作为国家护理专业领域技能型紧缺人才培养基地，学院1989年在全国首创涉外护理专业，已培养2000余名毕业生赴15个国家工作或留学，形成鲜明的国际化办学特色。近年来先后荣获"全国教育系统先进集体"、中华人民共和国第二届职业技能大赛金牌等荣誉，牵头组建京津冀康养人才产教联盟等多个行业协作组织，为区域医疗卫生事业发展提供有力人才支撑。

As a national training base for skilled talents in short supply in the field of nursing, the college pioneered the international nursing major in China in 1989, and has trained more than 2,000 graduates to work or study in 15 countries, forming a distinctive international school-running characteristic. In recent years, it has successively won honors such as "National Advanced Collective in Education System" and the gold medal of the 2nd Vocational Skills Competition of the People's Republic of China. It has taken the lead in establishing several industry cooperation organizations such as the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Health Care Talent Industry-Education Alliance, providing strong talent support for the development of regional medical and health undertakings.
