安徽医科大学是安徽省属重点大学，前身是1926年创办于上海的私立东南医科大学。学校始终坚持“兴国、奉献、仁爱”的校训，以医学为主，多学科协调发展，是安徽省医学人才培养、科学研究和医疗服务的重要基地。

Anhui Medical University is a key provincial university in Anhui Province, formerly known as the Private Southeast Medical University founded in Shanghai in 1926. Adhering to the school motto of "Rejuvenating the Country, Devoting, and Benevolence", the university focuses on medicine with coordinated development of multiple disciplines, serving as an important base for medical talent cultivation, scientific research, and medical services in Anhui Province.

学校现有梅山路、翡翠路、东校区三个校区，设有34个本科专业，涵盖医学、理学、工学、管理学、法学等多个学科领域。拥有国家级一流本科专业建设点22个，国家级特色专业4个，形成了完整的人才培养体系。

The university currently has three campuses: Meishan Road, Feicui Road, and East Campus, offering 34 undergraduate majors covering medicine, science, engineering, management, law, and other fields. It has 22 national-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites and 4 national-level characteristic majors, forming a complete talent training system.

在科研方面，学校拥有多个国家级和省部级科研平台，近年来承担国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金等国家级项目数百项，在临床医学、公共卫生与预防医学等领域取得了一系列重要成果，为国家和地方医疗卫生事业发展作出了积极贡献。

In terms of scientific research, the university has multiple national and provincial-level research platforms. In recent years, it has undertaken hundreds of national-level projects such as the National Key R&D Program and the National Natural Science Foundation, achieving a series of important results in clinical medicine, public health and preventive medicine, and making positive contributions to the development of national and local medical and health undertakings.
