安徽第二医学院是安徽省属公办医学本科院校，由安徽医学高等专科学校升格而来，于2025年正式设立。学校前身可追溯至1955年创建的合肥卫生学校，历经安徽卫生职业技术学院、安徽医学高等专科学校等发展阶段，2025年经教育部批准升格为本科院校，开启应用型医学本科教育新纪元。

Anhui Second Medical College is a public medical undergraduate institution affiliated to Anhui Province. It evolved from Anhui Medical College and was officially established in 2025. Tracing its roots back to Hefei Health School founded in 1955, the college has undergone developmental stages including Anhui Health Vocational and Technical College and Anhui Medical College. Approved by the Ministry of Education to升格为 undergraduate level in 2025, it has ushered in a new era of applied medical undergraduate education.

学校秉持“厚德精医、博学笃行”校训，弘扬“勤业进取、育才济世”校风，累计培养10万余名医疗卫生人才，是国家“双高计划”建设单位、教育部首批“三全育人”综合改革试点单位。现有芙蓉路、新桥两个校区，占地面积1182.58亩，开设护理学、养老服务管理、医学检验技术、药学等4个首批本科专业，构建了以医学类专业为核心的特色学科体系。

Adhering to the motto of "Virtue, Excellence in Medicine, Erudition and Dedication" and promoting the school spirit of "Diligence, Progress, Cultivating Talents for World Salvation", the college has cultivated over 100,000 medical and health talents. It is a national "Double High-Level Plan" construction unit and one of the first batch of "Three-Complete Education" comprehensive reform pilot units of the Ministry of Education. With two campuses (Furong Road and Xinqiao) covering an area of 1182.58 mu, it offers 4 initial undergraduate programs including Nursing, Elderly Care Service and Management, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmacy, establishing a distinctive disciplinary system centered on medical-related majors.

学校注重实践教学，建有17个校内实验实训中心，其中国家级示范性虚拟仿真实训基地1个、国家级校企共建生产性实训基地2个，与安徽省第二人民医院等三甲医院共建实训基地，形成“校院合作、医教融合”的育人模式。近年来荣获全国高校毕业生就业工作典型经验50强高校、全国党建工作样板党支部培育创建单位等称号，为健康安徽和基层医疗卫生事业发展提供坚实人才支撑。

The college emphasizes practical teaching, boasting 17 on-campus experimental training centers, including 1 national-level demonstration virtual simulation training base and 2 national-level school-enterprise co-built productive training bases. It has established training bases in collaboration with top-tier hospitals such as Anhui Provincial Second People's Hospital, forming an educational model of "school-hospital cooperation and integration of medical education". In recent years, it has been honored as one of the "Top 50 Universities with Typical Experience in Graduate Employment Work" and a "National Model Party Branch for Party Building Work", providing solid talent support for the development of Healthy Anhui initiative and grassroots medical and health undertakings.
