安阳工学院坐落于历史文化名城、中国八大古都之一的河南省安阳市。学校始建于1983年，2004年经教育部批准升格为公办全日制普通本科院校，是河南省示范性应用技术类型本科高校、河南省硕士学位授予重点立项建设单位，2013年以优异成绩通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估。

Anyang Institute of Technology is located in Anyang City, Henan Province, a famous historical and cultural city and one of the eight ancient capitals of China. Founded in 1983, the university was upgraded to a public full-time ordinary undergraduate institution with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2004. It is a model application-oriented undergraduate university in Henan Province, a key project construction unit for master's degree authorization in Henan Province, and passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education with excellent results in 2013.

学校占地面积1500余亩，建筑面积约65万㎡，现有在校生约2.1万人，其中研究生(联合培养)179人，设置有22个教学院部，现有招生专业59个，涵盖工学、理学、农学、管理学、经济学、文学、法学、艺术学等8大学科门类，基本形成以工为主、理工结合、多学科交叉融合的学科专业体系，在2021年实现河南省本科一批招生。学校现有教职员工1600余人，具有高级职称教师475人，具有博士、硕士学位教师1297人，享受国务院特殊津贴专家、省管专家、省级学术技术带头人、省科技创新杰出人才等高级人才80余人。

The university covers an area of more than 1500 mu, with a building area of about 650,000 square meters. Currently, there are about 21,000 students, including 179 postgraduates (joint training). It has 22 teaching colleges and departments, with 59 enrollment majors covering 8 disciplines such as engineering, science, agriculture, management, economics, literature, law and art. It has basically formed a discipline and professional system focusing on engineering, integrating science and engineering, and interdisciplinary integration. In 2021, it realized the enrollment of the first batch of undergraduate students in Henan Province. The university has more than 1,600 faculty members, including 475 with senior professional titles, 1,297 with doctoral and master's degrees, and more than 80 senior talents such as experts enjoying special government allowances of the State Council, provincial management experts, provincial academic and technical leaders, and outstanding talents in provincial scientific and technological innovation.

学校注重打造航空和低空经济办学特色，是全国第九所、河南省第一所培养民航飞行员的高校。开设有飞行技术、飞行器制造工程、智慧交通等航空类专业，在交通运输、电子信息工程等专业设有飞行签派、机场运行与管理、航空电子等8个航空类专业方向。建有具有独立资质的CCAR-147部飞机维修培训机构和考点，建有河南省人机环境与应急管理国际联合实验室、智慧民航特色行业学院等5个省级教学科研平台，拥有B737-300、小鹰500教练机等10架实训飞机，建有民航CBT、陆空通话、飞行模拟等30个实训室。

The university focuses on creating the school-running characteristics of aviation and low-altitude economy, and is the ninth university in China and the first university in Henan Province to train civil aviation pilots. It offers aviation majors such as Flight Technology, Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering, and Intelligent Transportation, and has 8 aviation professional directions such as flight dispatch, airport operation and management, and avionics in majors such as Transportation and Electronic Information Engineering. It has an independent CCAR-147 aircraft maintenance training institution and examination site, 5 provincial-level teaching and research platforms such as Henan International Joint Laboratory of Man-Machine Environment and Emergency Management, and Smart Civil Aviation Characteristic Industry College. It has 10 training aircraft including B737-300 and Xia鹰 500 trainer aircraft, and 30 training rooms such as civil aviation CBT, ground-air communication, and flight simulation.

着力建设特色文化育人体系，校园环境优美、花木繁茂、碧草如茵、景色宜人，中华优秀传统文化和校园文化要素随处可见，用周易六十四卦象铺设的旭日花园、以电子阴阳对撞为核心扩展的求索广场、以金木水火土为元素的五行门雕塑和以甲骨文撰写的百家姓文化墙等，将传统文化与校园文化贯通交融。与60余所国(境)外大学、研究机构建立了友好合作关系，与英国提赛德大学等举办了3个中外合作办学本科教育项目，与俄罗斯莫斯科国立民用航空技术大学联合举办非独立法人的中外合作办学机构--安阳工学院莫斯科航空科技学院。
