安阳师范学院位于甲骨文故乡、殷墟所在地、红旗渠精神发祥地、国家历史文化名城、中国八大古都之一的安阳市，是一所具有百年师范办学历史的省属公办普通本科高校。学校前身是始建于1908年的彰德府安阳师范传习所，历经多次发展变迁，2000年升格为本科院校，2011年获批硕士专业学位研究生培养试点单位，2020年成为河南省特色骨干大学建设高校，2021年获批硕士学位授予单位，2024年获批河南省博士学位授予重点立项建设单位。

Anyang Normal University is located in Anyang City, the hometown of oracle bone inscriptions, the site of the Yin Ruins, the birthplace of the Hongqiqu Spirit, a national historical and cultural city, and one of the eight ancient capitals of China. It is a provincial public ordinary undergraduate university with a century-long history of normal education. The predecessor of the university was Zhangde Prefecture Anyang Normal Training Institute founded in 1908. After several developments and changes, it was upgraded to an undergraduate university in 2000, approved as a pilot unit for postgraduate training of professional master's degrees in 2011, became a construction university of Henan Province's characteristic backbone universities in 2020, obtained the qualification of granting master's degrees in 2021, and was approved as a key project construction unit for granting doctoral degrees in Henan Province in 2024.

学校现已发展成为涵盖经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、管理学、艺术学、交叉学科等十大学科门类的综合性大学。占地1380亩，建筑面积68.74万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值4.05亿元，馆藏纸质图书231万册。设有19个教学学院和1个继续教育学院，拥有2个一级学科硕士学位授权点、11个专业硕士学位授权点及65个本科专业，面向全国21个省（市、自治区）招生，现有普通全日制在校生30000余人。

The university has now developed into a comprehensive university covering ten disciplines including economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, management, art, and interdisciplinary studies. It covers an area of 1380 mu, with a building area of 687,400 square meters, the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 405 million yuan, and the collection of paper books is 2.31 million. It has 19 teaching colleges and 1 continuing education college, with 2 first-level discipline master's degree authorization points, 11 professional master's degree authorization points and 65 undergraduate majors. It enrolls students from 21 provinces (cities and autonomous regions) across the country, with more than 30,000 full-time undergraduates.

学校坚持人才强校、质量立校、特色名校战略，现有教职工1918人，其中具有高级专业技术职务教师517人，博士、硕士学位教师1502人。拥有国家级一流本科专业、特色专业6个，国家级精品在线开放课程、一流本科课程6门。在甲骨文研究领域特色鲜明，建有全国唯一的甲骨文信息处理教育部重点实验室，自主研发的甲骨文大数据平台“殷契文渊”为国际上容量最大的甲骨文数据库，相关成果荣获多项国家级奖项。

It has distinctive features in the field of oracle bone inscriptions research,建有 the only Key Laboratory of Oracle Bone Inscription Information Processing of the Ministry of Education in China. The independently developed oracle bone inscriptions big data platform "Yin Qi Wen Yuan" is the world's largest oracle bone inscriptions database, and related achievements have won many national awards.
