广东白云学院创建于1989年，是教育部批准成立的全日制普通本科院校。学校现有两个校区，西校区位于广州市白云区江高镇，北校区位于白云区钟落潭镇，面向全国17个省（自治区）招生，全日制在校生33600多人。学校以应用型本科教育为主体，构建了以工学、管理学、艺术学为主，多学科协调发展的学科专业体系，开设56个本科专业，拥有14个省级优势（特色）专业、6个省级一流专业建设点，形成了“产教融合、校企协同”的人才培养特色。

Guangdong Baiyun University, founded in 1989, is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. The university has two campuses: the West Campus in Jianggao Town, Baiyun District, and the North Campus in Zhongluotan Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou. It enrolls students from 17 provinces (autonomous regions) across the country, with over 33,600 full-time students. Focusing on application-oriented undergraduate education, the university has established a disciplinary system coordinated by engineering, management, and art, offering 56 undergraduate programs. It boasts 14 provincial-level advantageous (characteristic) majors and 6 provincial-level first-class major construction sites, forming a talent cultivation feature of "industry-education integration and university-enterprise collaboration."

学校师资力量雄厚，现有专任教师1380人，具有高级职称者占比30%，硕士以上学位者占比84%，“双师双能”型教师占比39%。学校坚持“内涵创新、数智赋能”发展路径，建有341间实验（实训）室和多个省级示范产业学院、实验教学示范中心，与982家企业合作共建实习实训基地，培养了大批适应粤港澳大湾区产业需求的高素质应用型人才。

The university has a strong faculty of 1,380 full-time teachers, with 30% holding senior professional titles, 84% having master's degrees or above, and 39% being "double-qualified" teachers. Adhering to the development path of "connotative innovation and digital intelligence empowerment," it has built 341 laboratories (training rooms), multiple provincial-level demonstration industrial colleges, and experimental teaching demonstration centers. It has also collaborated with 982 enterprises to establish internship and training bases, cultivating a large number of high-quality applied talents meeting the industrial needs of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
