北海职业学院坐落在古代海上丝绸之路重要始发港、美丽的滨海城市北海市，是广西壮族自治区北海市人民政府举办的公办高等职业院校，于2003年8月8日经广西壮族自治区人民政府批准、教育部备案成立。学校前身是创办于1977年1月的北海市师范学校，至今已有46年的办学历史。

Beihai Vocational College is located in Beihai, a beautiful coastal city and an important starting port of the ancient Maritime Silk Road. It is a public higher vocational college run by the People's Government of Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It was approved by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and filed by the Ministry of Education on August 8, 2003. The predecessor of the school is Beihai Normal School founded in January 1977, with a history of 46 years.

学校办学条件优良，先后整合北海市技工学校、北海市广播电视大学，现有校本部、北校区、工业园区校区、东校区四个校区，设有机电工程学院、电子信息工程学院、旅游商贸学院、经济管理学院、文化与传媒学院、教育与康养学院、通识教育学院、马克思主义学院、继续教育学院等9个二级学院和1所附属实验幼儿园，有港口机械与智能控制、酒店管理与数字化运营、应用电子技术、现代物流管理、广告艺术设计、学前教育等53个专业，有296个校内实验实训室、290个签约校外实训基地。

The school has excellent running conditions. It has integrated Beihai Technical School and Beihai Radio and Television University. Currently, it has four campuses: the headquarters, North Campus, Industrial Park Campus, and East Campus. It has 9 secondary colleges including the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Electronic Information Engineering, School of Tourism and Business, School of Economics and Management, School of Culture and Media, School of Education and Health Care, School of General Education, School of Marxism, and School of Continuing Education, as well as an affiliated experimental kindergarten. There are 53 majors such as Port Machinery and Intelligent Control, Hotel Management and Digital Operation, Applied Electronic Technology, Modern Logistics Management, Advertising Art Design, and Preschool Education, with 296 on-campus experimental training rooms and 290 signed off-campus training bases.

学校在校生规模18000多人，教职工912人，专任教师727人，其中，博士、硕士286人，双师型教师285人，副高以上职称191人。目前，占地1200亩的新校区项目建设正抓紧推进，新校区建成后，学校办学条件更加优越，办学能力进一步提高。

The school has more than 18,000 students, 912 faculty members, and 727 full-time teachers, including 286 doctors and masters, 285 double-qualified teachers, and 191 with senior titles or above. At present, the construction of the new campus covering an area of 1200 mu is being stepped up. After the completion of the new campus, the school's running conditions will be more superior and the running ability will be further improved.
