北京体育大学是新中国成立后国务院确定的首批全国重点院校、国家“211工程”重点建设大学、国家“双一流”建设高校，隶属于国家体育总局。学校位于北京市海淀区，占地面积约1400亩，拥有现代化的教学、训练、科研设施，是国内体育高等教育的标杆。

Beijing Sport University is one of the first national key universities designated by the State Council after the founding of the People's Republic of China, a key university under the "211 Project", and a "Double First-Class" construction university. Affiliated to the General Administration of Sport of China, it is located in Haidian District, Beijing, covering an area of about 1,400 mu, with modern teaching, training, and scientific research facilities, serving as a benchmark for higher physical education in China.

With the mission of cultivating high-quality sports talents, promoting sports science and technology progress, and serving the development of national sports undertakings, the university offers 27 undergraduate majors including Physical Education, Sports Training, and Exercise Human Science, forming a complete talent training system covering undergraduate, master, and doctoral levels. It boasts a strong faculty with a number of renowned experts, scholars, and Olympic champion coaching teams at home and abroad.
